Is it me or…. when you go through a cash and you’ve just spent a hundred dollars but it could be any amount and you find yourself thanking the cashier and you get a nod, is this strange. Should they not be thanking me? After all I could go to any other grocery store to spend my money. I even looked at her strangely and it went right over her head. The training is lacking here to make it an enjoyable customer experience.
This is the worst loblaws in the city.nThis store is chronically out of common fresh herbs and vegetables. And when they DO have what you're looking for, it's always old and wilted. Came in today for dill and this is what they had for $3.99. Went to Farmboy and they had beautiful fresh dill for a dollar cheaper, $2.99. Loblaws sucks, but the Loblaws on Isabella street takes sucking and turns it into an art.
A good supermarket with an excellent cheese section, a great selection of fruits and vegetables, and in May and June--when their garden center is open--a very convenient location to purchase soil and mulch for your garden.
Overall a good location, nvery clean and smells good, it’s a rather small location compared to other loblaws in the downtown and middle town area , therefore the variety of products are a bit smaller than other locations but still good enough.nnthe produce and salad bar are very fresh , i haven’t seen any rotten fruits not even on the discounted shelf.nnthe prices are similar to other loblaws, though a bit on the pricier side i would say.nnpretty nice decor but the red floor hurts the eyes a bit.nnthe staff are doing okay overall in terms of customer satisfaction. there is only a few cashes open and self checkout is pretty small so in some busy hours it can take some time to checkout.nni would give them 3 stars for being a bit pricy and also the time you have to wait for cashing out.
Normal Loblaws, with a real good deli and cheese section. This is a small store compared to other Loblaws. I believe it's the oldest original Loblaws location. Due to its size, you'll find fewer items, but you should be able to take care of most grocery needs.
