Loblaws

I was at self checkout where I had cupcakes marked 6.87 and 50% off, noticing the price was wrong I brought it to her attention as it was scanning at 7.49. I asked her to change the price to the correct one and she complained about another coworker unprofessional, she left with my cupcakes assuming to change the price even though she can override it at the cash only to wait for her to come back without my cupcakes. I tried to bring up even the scanning code of practice and that I still wanted my cupcakes where I replied with “what,” pardon is the correct way to talk to someone.nnThere used to be an amazing guy who wore a mask on selfcheckout. The staff either moves around or has quick turnover as this is the only person I can recognize in my 6 years of going to the store.nnI live really close to this loblaws but will now take the time to avoid it and go to farm boy.

Stopped in quick to pick up some flowers. The selection was a bit small but all were very fresh. Staff were able to help with some very specific questions which was greatly appreciated. Overall looked to be a really nice, clean grocery store!

A good supermarket with an excellent cheese section, a great selection of fruits and vegetables, and in May and June--when their garden center is open--a very convenient location to purchase soil and mulch for your garden.

Prices at Loblaws are higher than any grocery store in Ottawa. If you have a means to visit the Food Basics down the highway, you'll get infinitely more value for your dollar.

Selection and products are good. The cashier situation is atrocious. They never have enough cashiers, takes forever, no organization, etc. Pretty sad, I think I'll stick to Costco.
