Loaf & Ladle

Stopped in on a whim because we don't know the area well. This charming little bistro surprised us in the best possible way! The food was amazing and so much of it, and the service was perfect. They offer home made sourdough bread that is devine, and sell it to go as well. So of course we had to buy a loaf. We will happily drive the half hour to eat here again.

Love this place! Anytime my boyfriend and I make the trip to Sandpoint, Loaf & Ladle is always our favorite place to dine. It has a nice variety of Vegan options, which is what attracted us to them in the first place. Tonight I had the loaded nachos and my bf had the chicken & waffles and it was amazing (as always). Our server Bryant was very attentive and made sure our drinks were never empty. Fast and friendly service, would definitely recommend!

The service was good and the restaurant itself was cool but the food left much to be desired. I had the L&L Burger. $13.95 for just the burger and an extra $2.00 if you wanted steak fries. The meat lacked flavor which they tried to church up with a pineapple jalapeno marmalade. The fries were left under a heat lamp too long or left in and oven to crisp and dry out. Either way, not good. My lunch partners did enjoy the Fish Tacos but not the Tofu Ramen Bowl. Maybe it was an off day for Loaf & Ladle. I'll give them another chance in the future, maybe.....

A nice neighborhood restaurant. Everything we've had here has been delicious. A bit pricey for N. Idaho, but worth it.

So this used to be one of our favorite places to eat since we live right down the street. The food WAS so good and the service was always some of the best and most importantly it was affordable...sadly ALL of that had changed we went in for soup and salad because it always good we ordered and expected it to be fast because it's just soup apparently they were out of all the soups except some sort of chowder so we had to find something else but apparently they were out of that too..so after finding something that they just happened to have left we waited over 45 minutes when we were basically he only two people in the place. When we were done we just wanted to get out of there so we patiently waited on our check mind you our waitress never came to check on us no refills no. O thing we waited another 20 minutes after we were clearly done with our meals to get our check. But she had no problem taking for over 15 minutes wit what must have been a friend of hers at another table. Not to mention for the two of us after all that our bill was over 45 dollars! Sorry to say but we won't be going back anymore..too bad this place used to be amazing!!
