We went for my birthday and it was absolutely yummy. Kitchen is different, different spices but I like to try different food. Dessert was very good too. Would go there more often if I would live there
Amazing Find!!! Delicious food. Every single thing we ordered was amazing, made with fresh ingredients. The wine selection was great and the service was so friendly and informative. They have gluten free options for my son. I love the patio in the summer with the water views. We will he back. A must try
Only been there once, but it was great food! Service was awesome as well. Adding some pictures of the food. My favorite was the Kung Pao Cauliflower appetizer, but the Chicken Vindaloo was in the runnings. The Naan was honestly the best Naan I've ever had...crispy, soft, tasty. Definitely going to repeat next time we are in town. My wife loved her Chicken Vermicelli Salad and Beet Ball Falafel.
Located at one end of downtown Sandpoint, this restaurant offers options for people looking for something a little different in a nice, casual atmosphere. The place is located in an older building and looks classy enough for a fancy evening out. At the same time, it has a casual vibe that will make people at ease if they simply want to enjoy a fun night out on the town. The employees were friendly and attentive. The food had a good variety of options with most of the dishes having an Asian influence. The food tastes great and very fresh. The prices were fair for a restaurant of this kind. Definitely a place I would suggest to anybody visiting Sandpoint.
Delicious & unique food. I have never been disappointed by a single thing I have ordered. The rotating specials are a must try, as well as any of their staple menu items!
This is the best restaurant in Sandpoint!!! Amazing flavors and textures. The Kung Pao Cauliflower is the best treatment of cauliflower I have seen ever, I crave it now. The salmon and noodles was a great entree as well. Highly recommend those two. The soft naan with curry dip was also a nice appetizer. Saturday mimosa specials were great $5 and the vanilla lavender mimosa was so well balanced and tasty!
Dynamic flavor exceeded any expectations we had when dining here. Service was prompt, efficient and courteous. This place is a must visit if you’re stopping in Sandpoint - seriously good! Several vegan/veg options available, vegan ourselves.
Beet and Basil was a really cute and unique restaurant right in the heart of downtown Sandpoint, ID. We enjoyed a beautiful day by sitting outside and enjoying the view of the little marina filled with boats as well as the mountains beyond. The food was delicious and very generous. The Kung Pao Cauliflower was delicious and also an enormous serving, definitely enough to share with an entire table! The duck salad was tasty, albeit a little salty but quite lovely refreshing fare on a warm evening. The décor inside was eclectic and fun and I would definitely go back to try more of their unique offerings.
We ordered in, and sat on the patio for 45 minutes... while our food sat at the takeout pickup counter. The ticket clearly displayed out table number 4 on the patio. The level of illiteracy is astonishing. I cant believe their excuse was "we had some confusion in the kitchen". The only reason we even got our food before they closed was the want for another drink and went to the bar and asked about our food. The food was good but would have been better if it was served fresh. Like 30 min earlier fresh. I wouldnt give them my business again. Incompitancy is a major turn off for wanting to enjoy yourself. Try at your own risk
An absolutely delightful meal of Beet falafel and chicken bahn mi. Their side salad and lentil soup were out of this world and gave the main courses a run for their money! The Lemongrass cider from Incline was a perfect blend of dry, flavor and not too sweet. We also enjoyed the Arona NZ Sauv Blanc with it's crisp and dry perfection.
