We were craving hot pot and decided to try Liuyishou Hotpot Scarborough, and it turned out to be a great decision.nnWe booked a table two days in advance for a Sunday evening and were seated immediately. This time we ordered smart and didn’t overdo it. We chose the Liu’s House Special and Sukiyaki soup bases—both were well balanced, flavorful, and not overwhelming.nnOur order included marbled beef, New Zealand lamb, flat iron beef, beef balls, udon noodles, plus watermelon and aloe juices. Everything tasted fresh and high quality. A standout item was the beef brisket slices served as a side dish—rich, tender, and packed with flavor. Easily my favorite dish of the night.nnOverall, this was one of the best hot pot experiences we’ve had. Even the self-serve starter section was well stocked, clean, and thoughtfully maintained.nnSpecial thanks to Rita and Minnie for their friendly service and patience in explaining everything clearly. The restaurant does get busy, so reservations are strongly recommended.nnWe’ll definitely be returning.

First time trying hotpot and this restaurant is the first restaurant that I have ever tried. The price was decent and the soup base was so good. They have lots to choose from and you can mix your own sauce to your liking. The service was really good too and very friendly. It's ayce and they have free cuts to choose from and some are priced separately. The place is nice and clean. The washroom is very neat and tidy. Ended our meal with a nice cooling dessert which is also included.

Their Triple Flavor Hot Pot is an absolute must-order. It allows you to customize your meal perfectly. My personal favorite combo is:nn· House Special Spicy : A complex, numbing má and spicy là broth packed with chilies and Sichuan peppercorns. It’s authentic and flavorful, not just brutally hot. You can choose your spice level.n· Pork Bone Broth : A rich, milky-white, and comforting base, perfect for cooking mushrooms, vegetables, and noodles.n· Tomato Broth : Surprisingly robust and sweet-tangy, this is a crowd-pleaser and especially fantastic for dipping you tiao fried dough or cooking tender meats.

Liuyishou is a delicious all-you-can-eat hot pot spot with great quality food and lots of variety. Everything tasted fresh, and the overall experience was very enjoyable. The washrooms were clean and even stocked with thoughtful extras like dental floss, which was a nice touch. The only downside is that it could use a few more dessert options. Overall, a solid place for hot pot and definitely worth visiting again.

Celebrated a friend’s birthday on a Friday night at Liuyishou Hotpot Scarborough, and hands down — this is the best hot pot experience I’ve had in the GTA.nnYou get a full two hours to enjoy the all-you-can-eat experience, and we went all in on the Wagyu beef special — $247 for four people. Incredible value for the quality. It includes one pot with two soup bases; we chose the tom yum and Malaysian laksa, both packed with flavour and the perfect balance of spice and richness.nnThe highlight aside from the endless Wagyu is the exceptional make-your-own dipping sauce station. Crushed chilies, fresh garlic, sesame paste, hot sauces — you can really customize your flavour profile. Beyond the hot pot staples, they also offer extras like fried chicken wings, spring rolls, spicy crawfish, plus all the add-ins you could want: corn, mushrooms, noodles and more.nnFor the birthday celebration, they brought out a “Wagyu beef cake” — beautifully arranged strips of beef stacked like a cake that you cook in your broth. Such a fun and thoughtful touch.nnWe wrapped it all up with taro and vanilla swirl soft serve — the perfect cool-down after all that spice.nnExcellent service, great quality, and outstanding value.
