Nando's PERi-PERi

Came here with my colleague for lunch. It was his first time here. I’m a regular and always loved the food here. I got the double leg meal with 2 sides. I always get the Mango & Lime sauce over my chicken and dip it in the hot sauce for extra flavour. I wish the chicken legs were bigger. The peri peri rice tasted really good with the chicken. And the fries were good but not the best. My colleague loved his food, but didn’t like the coleslaw at all. We also got Natas and they are always a hit after a meal. So yummy!

When you order, they ask what the main and the side you like. based on their menu, I each I am paying 14.99 + tax . To my surprise, i was charged 18.98+ tax. I.e. main 14.99 and a side of 3.99... WTH? This is a true scam simple and easy.nLet's now judge the food.nMy 3 chicken thighs are truly 1/2 a thigh each. My friend ordered a butter fly breast, which, as we expected to be a 1/2 breast, unless the chicken was a miniature size.nThe mach pies looked un appetizing. my fries were plain and blend.nIf it wasn't for catchep and peri sauce, this food is inedible.nAll over price over taste is barely an average.nI would not come back nor recommend it.nTheir fountain machine was not functioning either.

I visited twice within a month. During first visit, branch manager supported a lot and helped to dine in. Thanks to her.nnDelicious full chicken with yummy fries and garlic

Nando’s is my favorite restaurant/food place so of course I loved it. Interestingly, I noticed the prices here were higher than in Ottawa. My go-to order, Chicken Sandwich costs $15-16 in Scarborough but in Ottawa it is $2 cheaper. But overall, me and my friends really enjoyed the food. I also always love Nando’s decor, the restaurant locations are almost always decorated with some pretty colors, pictures, and patterns.

Great portages style food & chicken. Held large parties over the years. Always met my expectations. Everything is halal.
