Li-Ao Sushi

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The order came fast. The sushi was good and priced reasonably about 50 dollars for what I included in the pictures Happy to support a local restaurant

Service was good. Restaurant is clean but flavour wasn't that good. We ordered ramen and the seafood one didn't have much flavour. The pork one was good. I'll give the restaurant another try with the sushi. The brocoli tempura was soggy

I haven't written a review in awhile but felt that it was absolutely necessary to do so today! We ordered the seafood miso and it was absolutely delicious! All these years and I didnt even know seafood miso was a thing! Also had the seared salmon and salmon nigiri - the peices of salmon were thick, tasted fresh and left me completely satisfied.You know exactly what I mean when you've had sushi at a stingy restaurant with thin slices of salmon and a whole lot of rice! I highly recommend Li-Ao Sushi and will definitely be returning soon!

Tasty, fresh, affordable, friendly. I'll be back! Loved that they had low sodium soya sauce. Other guests were engaging in fun conversation with the gentleman server, they sounded like regulars who enjoy coming back for the food AND excellent service.

We always go back to this restaurant when we crave for Japanese food. Food is always fresh and tasty. Staff are always friendly!

Delicious rolls at reasonable price, but didn't enjoy the crispy katsu. Too dry..

We were there just yesterday. Food was good, I liked it, but customer service 2/5. We were served by lady and the owner of the place. They are too irritating, seriously - I don’t need my tea cup to be filled every time I sip, I can do it myself because the teapot is on the table. And being asked numerous times if everything is ok- doesn’t make any good. I want my space. Ideally: Waiters serve the clients but they have to be invisible/unnoticeable, interact with guests at the minimum, here it’s the opposite. Owner is too loud- giving commands to the kitchen being himself in the dining area. Didn’t want to stay long, wouldn’t come again.

We order from Li Ao almost every week now you could say we are officially addicted lol and they have never disappointed us once! The quality is always amazing and the flavors are perfect. Our faves are the special yam tempura roll and the crispy beef roll!

Always great quality food. I have been coming to this sushi place since I was 15. I’m 21 now and I have yet to taste a dish I didn’t like from Li Ao. The staff are friendly and accommodating. It’s always very clean inside and great to invite multiple friends to. The parking is good. My favourite dishes are the salmon sashimi, the takoyaki, the yam tempura special, and the cheesy crab bombs. Highly recommend to those interested to check this place out!

One of the best sushi places in town, by far! Authentic Japanese sushi, made with love every time! When I lived in Bridlewood, a few blocks away from here, we practically lived on their sushi it was so good! From other places you get sick of sushi after a while, not from Li-Ao! Try the Sushi Pizza, it’s not authentic sushi, but a personal favorite of mine!
