This place offers a of getting your food without the hassle of waiting. The freshly made sushi are placed on the floating boats, and passes by each table. Making it super convenient for you to grab the items you want. You may even discover something new to try.
Wow. This place was surprisingly good. Everything we got fried, tasted fresh and hot. Delicious crunch, exactly what we wanted. The bimbimpap was tasty and fresh. Creme Brule was on the neutral side, not as sweet as most. But freshly torched to order. Our servers were great, Kaylee was kind and upbeat, also there to answer questions in a friendly manner. We went around 9pm on a Friday and were seated right away. Our table next to the kitchen curtain was noisy with plate sounds out back but we didn't mind. Ordered: tako roll, mixed tempura veggies, crispy gyoza, bimbimbap and creme Brule. Thank you for the wonderful food and service! Parking: Shared parking with other local places
Very neat sushi place in the NW. Friendly service and great food. Lots of stuff on the menu to order directly rather than waiting for the boat to go around the table although that’s a fun experience in itself. Respectful of the health guidelines, masks and vaccinations required :
Quality of food is terrible. The sashimi is paper thin and doesn’t taste fresh and not rolled well- everything falls apart since fish is cut into small pieces and they use machines to roll their sushi. Do not recommend them which is unfortunate as they were quite good before covid and have now gone downhill
Service was nice, clean. Oysters were delicious. Sushi rolls are Nicely made and the amount of rice was just enough in rolls. Taste so good. I would go there again.
Seems like chef changed and lots of things have different taste now. Sushi is still OK but noodle Soup were terrible. Couldn't stop nausea after finished eating.
There was not a great selection available on the boats but we ordered by menu and it was OK. Prices are on the higher end and sushi was meh. Rice was not fresh and was getting hard, portions were medium, quality was mid range. Overall you could definitely find higher quality and better taste for comparable prices.Food: 3/5
Ordered the calamari, udon, and a few rolls. Calamari portion was on the smaller side. Rolls were good but not very memorable. Service was friendly.Food: 4/5
Overall a great and unique experience in the city. The food is fresh and savory. Maybe it was just the day or the time we came in but a lot of the food were similar on the boats despite the restaurant having a wide array of options from the menu you can order from. Other than that, we really liked the calamari bites, they were well seasoned and very tasty! Only complaint is that the washroom is a bit neglected because the floors were sticky… Nonetheless, I would highly suggest coming here because it’s a great experience. I’m not sure if they do reservations but I suggest you do that if they do if you want to come later than opening because it gets very busy fast.
I went once before years ago and didn't remember the experience. We recently moved to the area and my daughter and I wanted to check it out. We love sushi so we need a good spot close by.. unfortunately, it was not a great experience. The boats were basically empty other than imported drinks, poki or other candy. We ordered a platter which came with the " house special roll" we didn't ask what it was, just went with the flow which is a large helping of canned tuna salad and crab salad rolled in sushi rice then wrapped with a crape... Not so great. The edamame we were very bland and several soggy ones on our plate. My daughter said the seaweed on all of it tasted weird. Serving staff were friendly The boats that come past the tables are circling the kitchen so you can see them working... the kitchen staff looked miserable though. Kind of brought down the vibe.. Our search for a great local sushi experience continues I guess.
