Yaseen's Shawarma

Loved everything we got. This will become our next go to spot for Shawarma. On a Saturday evening we walk in to get take out and the atmosphere is buzzing and refreshing. To top it they were giving soup. I believe it was lentil soup with lemon and I was a instant fan - blame it on the cold outside. The service was quick we ordered right there and were out in 15 mins. My personal favorite was the chicken Saj and the chicken on stone. Portions and price is good. Highly recommended and definitely will be going often. Additional point - we did try to call and it was an automated message . If any updates to the number it does not reflect on Google though. Vegetarian options: Well falafel is the veggie option. Parking: There are several parking options available.

Walked in during the lunch hour. Presentation and cleanliness were good. The addition of a prayer room is a nice touch. I decided to get the chicken on stones with tahini sauce, garlic and their special sauce. The chicken itself was a little dry but I did get some pieces that were perfectly juicy and had a nice taste to them that complimented very well with the sauce and rice. As well, the price you pay is average and I think it is worth it. I’ll definitely have to come back and try the wraps and add hot sauce to add that last star. Recommend for a nice bite.

The place the owner all the workers are exceptional! They are such nice generous people and their shawarma is the BEST in ONTARIO. The owner Yasseen is such a nice gentlemen and he’s always at the shop making sure it’s running in order and making sure all they customers are satisfied. Dropped on for dinner on a Sunday, place was super packed. Interior is pretty straight forward but demand is high and there's a reason. They have 3 chicken shawarma rotating and 1 beef which was interesting to see. They also had a ton of staff prepping various sizes of shawarma take out. I ordered a couple of pieces of felafel and a saj bread chicken shawarma wrap. The felafel was small and boring but the chicken shawarma blew my mind, it was authentic and fantastic. Would drop in again to try the beef shawarma one day. Highly recommend for shawarma lovers. Vegetarian options: They have felafel sandwiches, pieces, etc.

Most satisfying shawarma experience Chicken had it’s own good flavor and it wasn’t dry, simple well toasted saj, better sauces, exactly how it should be love this place and how generous they are definitely must try! keep up the great work and consistency guys worth visiting often, better each time!

So delicious! The chicken and beef wraps are super tasty, amazing spices, perfectly cooked, not too dry. My new favorite shawarma spot.

I had THE best middle eastern meal from this place. The quantity will feed 2 people. No compromise on quality either. Now i know why this place has very high reviews. The owner Yaseen and his staffs were welcoming and helpful. I would totally recommend this place to anyone and i will surely be coming back here often. Totally happy and satisfied.

Love their outdoor sign serving if you don't have food. We had 2 takeout traditional shawerma saj + 2 pops. Delicious food and fast-ish service. Was busy with people coming ordering. Place is clean. Definitely coming back for more shawerma. Thank you

Mediocre at best! I had high expectation for this shawarma restaurant. The reviews are very high and my family/friends highly recommended it. So I decided to try for myself. The restaurant was packed with customers. I ordered Chicken On The Stones which is basically chicken/beef shawarma on rice with garlic sauce. The picture I uploaded to this review does not look appetizing. I tried it and blah was the first thing on my mind. It was regular, bland and nothing to write home about or even recommend it. The garlic sauce was ok, the chicken/beef was less than average and the rice was boring. I was very disappointed. I will never try this place again but I cannot say don't go there since the average rating is so high so there must be something to it I guess. My recommendation is to skip this shawarma restaurant, there are so many other better places to go especially in Lawrence/Pharmacy area. This shawarma was bad. I wish the owners all the best and hope they improve their product in future. Good luck.
