Great atmosphere not to mention the amazing food! Lamb soup is very good with so much lamb inside, lamb with rice perfectly cooked, tender, and absolutely nothing to add! It is fall off the bone! Tired for the 1st time and I would say a good place for Mandi. We ordered a chicken plate and a mix plate with chicken and lamb. The rice was different for both the plates and the meat was so well cooked. We loved it and the lentil soup on the site was delicious too. The service is good and you don’t have to wait much to get your hands to the food as it’s quick. Overall, satisfied with the food.

It has a nice atmosphere inside. It reminds me of my days in the middle east. I ordered mix madhbi and it was good sized. The taste too was excellent and the meat was very tender and tasty. Pricing is just about right, not too cheap but not too expensive considering the portions. Having lived in middle east and experience Middle Eastern cuisine, I rate this place quite high.

Only twice in my life I have actually left food without eating. This was one such instant. I went there after many good reviews from word of mouths. It could have been one such instant in my case. I ordered the $55 family platter and ordered two different kinds of chicken. Was one of the last orders at night. The food smelled bad despite the good presentation. Staff was nice.

First time tried the Arabian restaurant Mandi Afandi. The food is fantastic . We had ordered 3 chicken and rice plates and all three rice flavours were different. The side lentil soup was also excellent. The chicken tatsed very good. Overall very good and tasty food.

If you are a fan of Mediterranean food, “especially Yemeni & Arabian Gulf cuisine” and you crave to eat Mandi, then go only to “Mandi Effendi” kitchen, you will find the best Mandi and Mathloutha in Canada. They also serve you after eating the best Arabic coffee in Canada. Good location, neat and the staff is active and friendly. Strongly recommend to go to this restaurant.

What is "Mandi" exactly? Its a popular middle Eastern dish that originates from Yemen. Meat that is slow cooked in a pit is layered over a bed of amazingly seasoned rice and served with a side of yogurt. There are different types of meat that you can choose from. The available choices were beef, lamb, goat, chicken and fish. All of them come seasoned and slow cooked to perfection. The food is not spicy and is a great change for people looking for new middle eastern food but are sick of shawarma and kebabs. The prices are pretty good and the portions are massive, I ordered the chicken Mandi which is my favorite and left pretty satisfied. The staff are friendly, the place was very clean and they even have a drive through.

Good ambiance, food is good quantity, quality wise its ok. I find it bit expensive as compared to the food quality. Staff is friendly, however i think it would have been best if one of the staff is there for customers coming in the restaurant as when we went there every one was busy. Rest it was good.

The second you walk in, you are embraced by the essence of lamb but you adjust quickly. There are booths, tables and floor seating available which I thought was a unique feature which caters well for this particular type of culinary experience. They offer complementary coffee which was extremely watered down but nice gesture regardless. Onto the food, I got a mixed plate which was accompanied with a lentil soup. The soup itself was tasty but watered down. The rice was absolutely delicious, each bite was full of flavour. The chicken was cooked to perfection and was falling of the bone. The lamb itself was cooked well and very easy to eat. The food itself is very basic, Rice and Chicken but since it's very enriched with flavour it works. A Salad would have elevated this dish to another level. Overall, it was good

Very good food and taste. Ordered mixed Family platter to taste everything. It is really a huge platter which can go for 6-7 people. Friendly staff with soothing music just made our dinner awesome. 1 star less just for the partially cooked lamb piece. I can understand no one can measure accurate cooking temperature for each meat piece. Surely going to visit next time with my family/employees.
