Lexus Laval

I bought a used Lexus here last fall. The sales process was pretty smooth and the sales person (can't recall his name) was very courteous and helpful. Given that this was a used car, there were a few small issues that they said they will fix before it is delivered to me. They fixed the rock chips with touch-up paint and a few other small things here and there. They also needed to change some sensor since the check engine light was on. A day or so before delivery I got a call saying that they have to wait for the part and it will take a few days longer. I asked to have a loaner car if that was the case. This is when I was told that it's actually fine to drive the car as is and I can take delivery, and that they will contact me when the part is in - a few days later. I took delivery of the car with the CEL on. This is when the disappointment began. A few days ended up turning into three weeks. Not only that, they did not call me once to update me on the delays. I had to call them several times and inquire. Half of those phone calls led nowhere as they couldn't even see the part as being on order and had no idea what I was talking about. This made me think that they were not going to fix the issue at all. In the end the sensor was changed, but the experience was frustrating. It felt as if they were quick to make the sale, but the after-sale service was sub-par. I had one more issue that I needed resolving. For some reason, when I got the car, the front driver's side floor mat was missing. I asked the service person to remedy this issue and he said that he will order the mat and give me a call once it arrives. After going through so much trouble with the sensor issue I decided that I will wait and see if they actually call me. This was going to be my test to see if I was going to be sending my business to this dealership and whether I was going to recommend it to anyone else to go here. Well, it has been 4-5 months since the floor mat was supposedly ordered, but I have not received any calls. They could have grown a sheep in New Zealand, sheared it, made a floor mat, and shipped it to Canada by this time. My guess is that they didn't even make the order. Long story short: they'll gladly sell you the car, but if there are any issues with it they will not be very willing to fix it. Be aware.

I would like to show and offer my appreciation to Lexus Laval and employee called Mr. Nicolas Bouchard, by leaving a review here. I initially booked a test drive for an RX-350 with another dealership but then changed to Lexus Laval due to the positive reviews here. Mr. Bouchard from the dealership contacted me without hesitation by email and asked me if he can call me. We spoke over the phone and he offered to come from Laval ALL THE WAY to downtown Montreal to my place and pick me up for the test drive. My fiance and I got picked up at the exact time and after thorough test drive combining a very pleasant attitude and conversation, he dropped us at the address we wanted again somewhere in downtown Montreal and he went back to Laval. We definitely are happy with the experience and absolutely will refer anyone (family, friends etc) to choose Lexus Laval without a second thought if they would like to buy/lease a Lexus. We would like to congratulate Lexus (Laval) for their very pleasant service and their excellent choice of employees. Thanks Mr. Nicolas Bouchard.

Had a great experience at the Laval Lexus Dealership. My sales rep Homan is by far the best I have seen to date. He is very patient, knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to make sure his clients are happy. Will definitely recommend this dealership to my family and friends. Thank you Homan for all of your help, I love my new car :-)
