One of the favorite parks in the Columbia River Gorge for our dogs. They really love it there 😃

Nice park downtown. Quite suitable for festivals. Easy walking distance to restaurants and pubs.

One has to give it to The Dalles for taking advantage of their remarkable history--both Lewis & Clark and Oregon Trail--and working on revitalizing their public spaces so that those coming by might have a place to reflect on this history.

Unless there's a concert or event there, it's a mostly forgotten pocket-park with a cool fountain. There are a couple different places to grab dog-poo bags so this is a very popular park for dog owners. It's right next to the freeway so it can get noisy sometimes.

Great views of historic buildings and the mountains. Great parking, kite flying, clean restrooms, bike repair station, and a cool fountain.
