Would not recommend. Called for minor service (blower motor not shutting off, all the rest OK). Service personnel did not know how the electrical portion of furnace operated, made several statements as to furnace being "re-wired", and then wanted $85 per each 15 minute to learn how it worked, or they could sell me a new entire furnace controls. so, no I wasn't going to pay for them to learn on my dime, nor to replace perfect ly good controls that had a component failure. Furnace has operated correctly for years, no one has " re-wired" it. So, I had to pay $69 for a 10 minute non repair or even a diagnostic decision.

Called to have furnace checked on 2/13/16 the blower motor went out. As stated in one other review, they told me that it is $69 for the service call (meaning to most consumers, for them to come out & tell you what's wrong & how much it will be to fix it). Well the $69 is just for them to drive to your house. They also charge an additional $45 to diagnose the problem. The total when the tech got done was $114. Isn't it obvious if someone calls & says "How much for the service call?" that they want the entire price & not just a portion of the price only to be surprised later with the fee being more then what you were told? Doesn't it make the most since to be very clear to the potential customer instead of at they very end before the tech leaves him hitting you with "So the total total is going to be $114" but when you called they said it would be $69? Someone please explain to me why they think this is an effective strategy because this is VERY poor business practice! I will never call them again nor will I refer them to anyone ever! In fact, I will be sure to let as many people as I can know how they operate & how they like to "trick" people out of their money!

Levine & Sons has always been very helpful with our emergencies and planed improvements. They always offer several options at different price points and the value is great. This is a family business and all their employees come across as really liking their job. We recommend them.

I called a number of places before settling on this company to check my furnace. Theresa at Levine and Sons told me that the service call is 69 dollars. Don't be fooled. They charge 69 for them to just drive out to your house. It's an additional 45 for them to actually look at the furnace. BAIT and SWITCH. It's a 114 charge to come out. Very deceptive. You should be ashamed of yourselves, Levine and Sons. Your lack of up front honesty will prevent me from ever calling you again.
