Nice layout and great location. The staff members are helpful and not judgemental as encountered in one of the competitors stores. They try to offer help in any form and they are ready to answer any question with smile. I recommend this Leon's store.
Looking for a swivel bar stool, the trip continue here. At the entrance, a single sofa was on sales, comfortable and friendly in price, but that was not the item on agenda. The store featured contemporary style of furniture, price is mostly acceptable. However, there are not much choices on the item I am looking for. Probably will be back another time for other items.
Nice selection good service. Was approached by an attentive but non pushy sales person who answered my questions regarding beds and showed me what's available. Prices are competitive. Store looks neat and is well organized. Will return if they get more stock as my choice is back order.
In June 2022 I arranged with Michel M to purchase a power recliner for my brother who has disabilities. I spoke to Michel M on the phone and arranged to meet with him to choose a chair. Drove from Ottawa and he was very welcoming, knowledgeable and showed me the chairs and their features. He arranged to have it delivered in 2 days and my brother was very happy with his new chair. Michel is an excellent salesperson.Thank you Michel and Leon's for your great service.
Overall terrible customer service, despite some kind and helpful people. The salesmen on site look down at you, they don’t offer any help or enhance your shopping experience. We asked to purchase an item we found online and he spoke to us like we were dirt. He was rude and arrogant, but thankfully the logistics team was more helpful and accommodating despite not being able to do anything about the situation. We travelled to another another Leon’s location to try and purchase the same item, and again though some people were kind, the salesmen were not. Their system is archaic - you shouldn’t have to ask your customers to go back on the floor to find a SKU for you so you can find your product. Mind you the product we were looking at was a children’s animal ottoman and I assume should be easy to find, but the person we spoke to had no idea what it was and insisted on us to retrieve the information they needed to find the product……..They are selling. Overall, really terrible experience. We purchased what we had to purchase and it’ll be the last time. Don’t bother shopping there. The upturned noses of the sales team should be enough of a deterrent.
I would like to say that after encountering a problem with a product purchased at this store that caused me a lot of stress and anxiety thé staff was terrific. They offered me assistance and my return was addressed and will await another machine. We all need to understand that times have changed, Covid has changed the way retail works. Being kind and understanding was exactly what I needed and Youri came through with flying colours.
I recently purchased a bed, a mattress and a couch. I had problems putting together the bed and I thought that it was defective. I contacted Leon's customer service and they responded very quickly. Within a couple of days of my complaint a technician came to my house and resolved the problem. I was really surprised since I thought it would take a long time to fix the problem. Excellent service from their Customer Service Department and the technician I forget his name . I am now a loyal customer and if I need any more furniture I wlll go to Leon's. Bravo Leon's Dorval !!
I just wanted to see a futon I saw online. The sales representative told me I had to pay a deposit and head to the Leon at Laval to see it. She also told me that if I wanted to order it then all I had to do was to pay the balance. I go to Laval and they told me that I couldn't see it since it's in the warehouse and that I couldn't pay the balance since it's a different Leon. I then called the Dorval's Leon's to get reimbursed and they told me I had to comeback. What a waste of time. They craziest thing is that if had a chance to see it and it was how I thought it would be I would've bought it. Update: I was contacted by the owner so that I could get to see the sofa and was also given a considerable discount. I am very happy of how serious they took my complaint.
I ordered a set of dining table and chairs on Nov 28th. The salesman assured me that they would get inventory on December 20th. I paid in full. On December 22nd I start calling and emailing asking when would they deliver my dining set. They don't pick up their phone, you'll be put in the waiting queue for hours. I emailed them, I'd get the automatic reply that they have received my email but never reply to the actual email. On December 28th, I go in store and they tell me they will receive inventory in May!?! That's 5 MONTHS later! Do not believe anything the salesman here tell you, they told me the price I paid is just that day, it was still the same price a whole month later. The customer service bad too, can't get a hold of them unless you come back to the store. Avoid Leon, you'll have a bad experience.
In 2017, I purchased a living room and bedroom set. They managed to screw up the delivery 5 different times, in several different ways. When the living room set came, it was missing a table, the sofa legs were missing from one of two sofas, and there were no holes at the bottom of the sofas to put the legs. The first time they delivered my bedroom set, the foot and head of the bed were scratched and damaged and the dresser had drawers that would not close, metal parts were sticking out and the sides were falling apart. See attached pictures. The second attempt at the bedroom set, I waited for several hours at home only for them to call me and tell me they could not make it. The third attempt at the bedroom set, they replaced the dresser and the foot and head of the bed. When the furniture assembler came, he noticed that the delivery workers took parts of the bed back with them that they shouldn't have. The fourth attempt at the bedroom set, not only did they not show up, they did not even call. My bedroom set was finally complete at the 5th attempt. Despite the fact that I had wasted several days at home, and complained at the store's customer service several times, including after their last failure, I was never compensated in any way. I will never shop there ever again. Worst customer service experience of my life.
