Picked up a brisket pho lunch special which was prepared quickly. Affordable lunch option in the area, decent flavours, fair amount of food for the price. There were two noticeable cuts of brisket, one being a dark brown cut which was a bit tougher. They gave me bean sprouts but forgot the basil sadly. I hear good things about the curry which I'll try next time.
Delicious!!! Quantity is balanced with the price and Very transparent business . This little family owned business took us by surprise. Lots of items to choose from the menu and right at entrance, there are lots of notifications indicating payment method and gratitude will be included on final bill. Love that they are up front about it. The place is well kept. Options of Condiments were on table and filled. However, the utensils could use a bit of an update. Chopsticks and soup spoon once black were faded and grey. For a Large bowl of House special Pho it was approx $13. Soup flavour was mild and not overly salted. Lemongrass pork rice dish is $13 The fish sauce stayed true to its name. Tangy, sweet and salty with its strong odour even after it was Diluted. Yet the combination of the sauce with the rice and meat was a good match. The shrimp fried rice was higher in price $20 but was it ever DELICIOUS !! Got the WOK HAY!! It was a bit pricey but the quantity was enough to feed two people. We were skeptical at first, however, the first bite widen our eyes as the overwhelming delicious wok flamed flavour awaken our taste buds and made us ask for more!! It was made to perfection. Our selective eaters devoured it in less than 15 mins and praise the dish as they were finishing to the last grain of rice! Thank staff for welcoming us at the last hour before closing.
Ordered take out through UberEat. Noddles portion was pretty small, and didn't include any basil leaves. Hunan chick rice was blend, and didn't include the special dipping sauce. There are definitely better options in the neighbourhood.Food: 3/5
Just came out of this place for lunch, where do I even start? Apparently it's Vietnamese cuisine but the only language on the menus are English and Chinese? I ordered the most easiest thing to make the Vermicelli dish seeing how suspect this place already looks about authenticity.. The service was pretty quick.. Noodles was hard, vegetables fresh.. Pork seasoned not bad, spring roll was greasy and soft from all the grease and the shrimp on sugar cane was just as greasy.. To top everything off.. The signature iconic fish sauce aka Nước Mắm that ties the whole dish together was disgustingly sour.. Not surprised to say at least from a Chinese knockoff Viet restaurant ‍ also when you enter a authentic Viet restaurant, they serve you tea.. Not water like here... Obviously the service is pretty bad since they automatically include and post signs everywhere about charging 10% lol
Good tasty food each time I visited. The Vietnamese coffee at $4.25 was flavorful although a tack small cup size. The Chicken Curry Soup was a little less creamy coconut compared to the last time I visited.
Was around that area, so we went to try this Le Viet Asian Cuisine, but it was a disappointment. Ordered a Pho Tai raw beef pho, and the raw beef quality was way below par, and small in portion size. Broth was ok, but I was very thirsty after eating it, need to drank alot of water afterward. Also ordered curry chicken with roti, and it was below par as well. The roti was very oily fried. After eating a few pieces of the roti, we need to drink alot of tea. Too oily. Will never come back again, have way more other Pho restaurant options than this. 1 star!!!!!
Fairly good food, but felt value was a little low. The portion size vs the price paid felt small, though maybe it's normal for the area. I'm just used to bigger portions for less money. 10% automatically added to your bill for dine in. I believe they also take cash or debit only. Service was okay and fairly quick. Located in a plaza with plenty of free parking. Overall, it was a decent experience. Would consider going back.
This is our go to place for take out since it is a 5 minute drive from home. We always get the special pho & vermicelli combo spring roll, BBQ pork & minced shrimp on sugar cane. We call ahead to order & they say that it will be ready in 10 minutes so we leave the house right away and it is always ready for us. The staff there aren't super warm or friendly but I'm okay with that since the interaction is so quick. My special pho regular size is enough for me to have a small portion for tomorrow's lunch. It has a sufficient amount of meat & noodles. The broth is very tasty & the right amount of saltiness to me.
Rude service and imposes a 10% tip onto your bill. Had our dinner there and when we asked what they were literally dropping off the table were, the server started to yell and walked away. And we were left by ourselves to figure out what was drop off on our table as to what’s what and who the meal belong to. To end our dining experience, we were told the bill included a 10% tip. Do not eat in as the service is poor and you don’t have a choice but to pay the 10% tips.
Eventually, this restaurant will run out of human beings to be rude to in the People's Republic of Markham. They have chased away more customers than they have. Someone should open up a competing restaurant and offer 5% discount to former Le Viet customers. It will be a gold mine. The man hates his customers and has made his wife and employees so afraid that they aren't happy and can't provide normal service. For the reviews saying service is good, 1 either you're a fake review or 2 you just didn't get your turn yet. I don't wish bad on anyone, but honestly, does this business deserve to be making all this money???
