First off the place is very clean, all tables are sanitized and you’ll need proof of vaccination to dine in. Staff are ultra enthusiastic and friendly. Dishes cost $17 on average. We ordered P1 and X16 and they were fantastic. I should add that you might find the portions a bit smaller than other pho places, but it should be enough for most.
Restaurant is clean and comfortable. Food is good. Viet Ice coffee is one of the best in Toronto. Only problem is dish portion too small according to price. Overall I give 4.5
Hidden gem in Bur Oak and Kennedy. Very comfy inside. Superior service. My wife tried the classic special pho and an avocado smoothies and I tried the spicy pho with a Vietnamese coffee. The noodles and meat were enhanced by the surprisingly good broth. Drinks are not just good but owner was nice enough to put them into takeout cups first before serving. Very thoughtful. We will definitely go back and try other pho and dishes.
Delicious food and fast pick up. They have really friendly staffs here and it’s always a joy to come and pick up food. I ordered directly on Google through their app and it saves the wait time. We love their house special for noodles as well as the vermicelli. They are well packaged and super tasty. Follow me for more food aventures on Instagram at @maggielicious.to
Been going here for years now with my wife Lilly, funny thing is we have a Pho store around the corner from us but still drive or take out from Bur Oak! I'm not the easiest guy to please but Joe manages everytime to get that order on point the portions are good, vegetables are fresh even during the covid take out. I can't wait to visit and dine in again. Pho has been my main go to but the vermicelli and rice are also the best in town! Keep up the great work guys
A very good Bun Bo Hue with a delicate broth, not too spicy, not too sour and not too much fermented shrimp paste. The vietnamese sausage is excellent, no pork blood though. Cafe sua da was also good
Got delivery and the pho was very tasty. Soup was amazing and quality of ingredients were great. Rice rolls were great as well.
Our family favorite place for pho!!! Everything is very tasty, flavorfull broth! The staff is kind and fast. Love their cooky and tae bands
Went for an early dinner with my husband. Owner was very friendly and welcoming. You need to show your vaccination certificate to eat there. This is posted right on the door. We didn’t have a problem with that. In fact, it made us feel better that they were protecting their staff and customers by doing this. I had the lemongrass pork and vermicelli with spring roll and my husband had the beef brisket pho soup. Both were delicious. Portions were large. We did not leave hungry that’s for sure! We were in and out in less than an hour with out feeling the least bit rushed. We’ll be back even though it’s farther than some of the other Vietnamese restaurants for us.
EDIT: recently ordered a grilled pork/Vietnamese sausage/spring roll vermicelli for take out. Though the food wasn't great, I'm very glad to see the same friendly FOH staff and that they're continuing to take a cautious and responsible approach to doing business during covid. The vermicelli dish was a decent portion size with tender pork and homemade nem nuong. However, I found the pork to be lacking in lemongrass flavour and the nem nuong could be cooked a little longer or at a higher temp for more grill flavour. But most importantly, the nuoc cham sauce was very bland and the flavour tasted closer to water than fish sauce or vinegar. Overall, I found the food to be rather inconsistent the last few times I've visited. Despite this, you can count on really good service here. *** Ordered the pho dac biet and bun rieu. Both were good but the brisket in the pho was very dry. Bun rieu was good but could use more tomato flavour imo. There's a discount for cash pick up and the guy at the cashier is fun. I'm here for the good vibes
