Lamb korma, samosas. Fantastic. Tender meat, well spiced, delicious pilaf with cloves & cinnamon & finely shredded carrot. Friendly & smiling service. Relaxing ambiance with pleasant & mellow Indian flute music. The place was quiet & empty throughout my hour-long meal. Montreal, do what you do best and fill this place up! It's well worth your time & money
Very good Indian restaurant. We’ve been here for serval times. Naan is fresh but kinda burned. Curry has right amount of spices. Samosa is crispy and flavorful. It tastes homemade.
We did a multi course for two, and wasn't disappointed. Restaurant vibe was chill and service was attentive and cool to talk to. Price was moderate. Also, location was convenient cause it was just down the street from our Airbnb.
The worst butter chicken and naan bread i have ever had. This was the small potion they gave me. The naan bread was doughy and not even cooked through. It was $31 total. I would of marched back to ask for a refund if it wasn’t cold out. Not going back and don’t recommend.
Lovely decor, smells nice , great date spot, not too crowded and delicious food with a very friendly staff to boot :
Service is not super fast but the food worth the wait! Not a place for a quick bite ; Probably the best indian spot in the mile end
Great spot for a good meal. Service was fast and attentive, server provided good advice on our choices. The food was excellent and the bill was super reasonable. Will visit again for sure!
If you're looking for the most authentic Indian food in Montreal, this has to be it. They have a wide selection yet everything is cooked to order so you know it's fresh The staff is great and attentive, but the food is unreal. They serve authentic Indian beer and you have to try the appetizers and not just the main dishes. There are very few good Indian places in Montreal, but so far, this is hands down the best. Had the butter chicken, korma, Palak paneer and fresh sizzling tandoori chicken! 10/10
My wife and I always look for Indian restaurants when we travel, and have sampled numerous places over a large part of the world. Montreal is blessed with lots of Indian food and we tried 3 others. This was the best and it was great. We ate here at least half a dozen times and tried a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes and we were never disappointed. We like our food highly seasoned and this request was fulfilled perfectly. This is a family establishment and the warm greeting we always received added to our dining enjoyment.
I was in town for only 4 days but I had to visit this place twice. The food is fantastic! They have a few fixed menus to share between two people and a few for one person. This is a fun way to try new things I wouldn't have otherwise ordered. A la carte is available as well. Everything I tried was super flavorful and delicious! I would love to come back!
