Traiteur Guru

I ordered a madras curry combo and chicken biriyani. both were not too spicy and portions are okay. Madras curry was good but the Biriyani was just okay. This is the first time ever that i had a biriyani with capsicums in it. Rice and the chicken masalas taste were kind of different. I have had better biriyani in Montreal so 3 stars.

Small, quaint Indian restaurant with Cape Cod-style decor. The samosas were nice and big but not doughy. The lamb vindaloo had a strong tomato flavour, a bit sour. The biryani was a bit wet but the jumbo shrimp were delicious!

Everything we ordered was great malai kofta, baigan bharta, chicken curry, chana masala, garlic naan, but the saag paneer was the best I have ever eaten. I am very happy that we took an extra block and stumbled upon this restaurant. Guru is the best Indian restaurant I have ever seen, and I am fortunate to dine here.

The food is very wonderful and delicious, the service is great.

Good food and ambience. The customer service was not really good, at least some guy that was taking the orders was rude and impatiant.

Good food and nice atmosphere. We had marinated chicken and lamb stew. Both were delicious and prices were very reasonable.
