The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the waiter very polite and knowledgeable about the menu, he made great recommendations. The food was delicious, the garlic Naan simply perfect. We really enjoyed our dinner. Great atmosphere.
New restaurant or new decoration at least. Probably the best / most modern Indian in Montreal from the decoration perspective. Food though, is far from the best Indian restaurants in Montreal. Is decent, but do not expect anywhere close to the best. Very fast and courteous service. Verdict : give it a try if you want to get some Indian flavors or get initialized although there are much tastier places.
So we were on a visit to Montreal and in search of food. Some 'real food' as I was tired of pastries. Saw Amber on Uber eats and decided to pay a visit. Let's just say we had a great time. Food was good, even though I was tasting some food on my plate for the first time. Service was fast and portion sizes were HUGE.Food: 5/5
The food was delicious! We had many requests such as gluten free and nut free and they made sure everyone was able to eat! The butter chicken was delicious and the dal was the right level of spice. The chicken biryani was delicious but the entire dish had many two smal pieces of chicken which didn’t make it with the price. The keema naan was also great but was not stuffed with enough keema. Please don’t be stingy with the meat it really isn’t fair to the customer ordering it. Overall service was great and food was good.
Went here for dinner after new year's as many other restaurants were closed, loved the decor and ambience, it was super busy, I would recommend to book a table before coming as most of the tables were reserved and they were sending walkin people back due to non availability. Nice food and good quantity, bit pricey but worth it. I usually order on uber eats from here and like dine in too.
Un solide 4.5! Good mocktails choices, skillfully decorated and well situated. The food is pretty good and the portions are generous. You can easily share many items on the menu and taste more things. Would recommend for dinners with friends!
We found this restaurant originally from Ubereats, but we decided to try it in person since it’s better to try it in person for the first time. Everything was soooo delicious, and for someone who eats very spicy food like I do the vindaloo curry’s spice was just right, but I think if you don’t spicy food regularly, you might find this really hot. Naan was really tasty as well. We ordered garlic, cheese naan. It’s a 10/10. I’m a fan of this restaurant. The samosas would be better with more spice inside, the skin was crispy and good. The most important part is they don’t make it greasy. We will come back to try more food ! Remember to bring your own WINE ! Good vibes and fine dining.
Fantastic tandoori garlic Naan! The food wasn't overwhelmingly spicy, though the Chilli paneer definitely had a kick. The wait staff was polite and very attentive!
One of the finest Indian restaurant in Montreal. Food quality and quantity was good. You just need to tell your taste if you like spicy or not. Great place for family gatherings.
Looking for authentic Indian cuisine in Montreal? Look no further than Amber! Step inside, and you'll feel transported to the vibrant streets of India with its rich and colorful decor. From creamy butter chicken to spicy lamb vindaloo, the food is bursting with flavor. And don't forget the soft and pillowy naan and perfectly cooked basmati rice. Though we found a chunk of plastic in our salad, it couldn't dampen our enthusiasm for this gem of a restaurant. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Indian dining experience in Montreal!
