This location is definitely worth the visit. The perfect amount of messiness and in large servings. The way bread preserves flavour is incredible. There are some excellent deals on combos and family meals. pristine restrooms. Suggest placing an order in advance.
Super friendly owner! The food was some of the best I’ve had. Hummus was absolutely amazing! Tons of options but simple enough menu! Also has lots of amazing drink options as well! The chicken shawarma, or chicken gyro or döner, was delicious. I like that they grill the whole world once it's ready. Besides its crust is crispy, the whole eating experience was not messy. I liked how it was served. The fries were the best. They had seating so it was nice to sit and eat my food in a relaxed environment.
The BEST shawarma is at my go-to restaurant in Ajax! In the more than 6 years that I've been coming here, I've always had first-rate service with a grin. Years ago, I enjoyed living nearby, and now I'll travel from the west merely to satisfy my shawarma desires! The shawarmas are really savoury and neatly filled with a variety of excellent ingredients! There are always substantial amounts of fresh tabbouleh salad. I recently discovered their soup and absolutely adore it. It's a true hidden gem. Empire is the place to go if you want to eat true, authentic Arabic food. Best shawarma restaurant in Ajax, without a doubt!
If I could rate this place ZERO, I would. Used to be good but last couple times I've ordered from them the food is either too dry, or salty. After waiting over an hour a half for our food yesterday we got it only to notice we were missing a WHOLE COMBO. One person was left without dinner to eat. On top of it they've gotten so cheap they skimp out on items like rice. For the other three dinners that we did get they were only half full. Beyond unacceptable as I paid almost $50. Waste of time and money!!!
I used to be a regular here. But not going here ever again. Order chicken salad. There were hardly 10small chicken pieces. Quantity and quality is drastically reduced. Buy your shawarma somewhere else, not this place.
Looks can truly be deceiving as this was terrible. I used to hate on Osmows but my chicken on the rocks today was BAD. Ordered it via Uber Eats and the rice was wrong I asked for plain rice and they gave me lentils the chicken was dry and did not taste fresh at all and it wasn’t even hot. I asked for Hot and it tasted terrible. What is this? Is this what you guys call food? Honesty, I can make better food drunk. Not to mention I have a chickpea/lentil allergy and I clearly didn’t want that in my rice. You can kill someone by not following the customers orders. Never again.
Have come here quite a few times. Every time it's been quality food along with solid customer service. Food always tastes fresh. The employees always start the process of ordering with a smile and greeting. When making my food, they were very attentive and made sure to dress my dish exactly how I wanted it. Washrooms and restaurant are clean as can be. Overall, one of the better shawarma places I've been to.
I wish I could give them 7 stars. By far I could say this place offers the best Shawarma in GTA. They have a small shop but be they very clean and their staff are super friendly and generous. Tried beef and chicken shawarma and also got a few falafel on the side and all were just delicious and authentic not westernized. Definitely recommend Lazeez shawarma in Ajax if you’re looking to have a delicious shawarma.
The lineup at this place was long! That’s always a good sign to trust if a place is worth trying. Needless to say, I liked it. Watching the food being made in front of you was great. I ate with my eyes just watching them put together wraps with fresh ingredients so I felt full before even taking a bite. Would definitely come back! Parking: Parking in Great
