Amazing Halal restaurant in Ajax. The Restaurant ambience was great and is a perfect restaurant for dine in with family. The staff was very nice and friendly. The overall cleanliness was great too. The only thing that needs to improve is the serving time. It was about 40 minutes wait time from order to serving. The taste of Karahi was no doubt amazing and deserves a 5 star. The naan and mint chutney were great too. Highly recommended place for Pakistani style food.
I can't say enough about the exceptional dining experience my family and I had at Karahi Point Ajax on a delightful Sunday evening. As a group, we had made reservations, and the moment we arrived, it was evident that our arrival was well-anticipated. We were promptly seated in a bustling restaurant filled with the happy chatter of other patrons, creating an inviting and lively atmosphere. Now, let's talk about the food – it was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. Our table was adorned with a splendid array of dishes, including an assortment of naan, butter chicken, mutton, chicken tikka, and fish. Each bite was a revelation of flavors, meticulously crafted and prepared with a level of expertise that truly impressed us. However, the star of the show was undoubtedly the fish. Cooked to perfection and exquisitely seasoned, it left an indelible mark on our taste buds. We indulged to our heart's content, savoring every morsel of this delectable feast. Despite my desire for dessert, the sheer abundance of the meal left us unable to take another bite – a testament to the generosity of Karahi Point's portions. What made our dining experience truly remarkable was the impeccable service. The owner personally came to greet us, a gesture that made us feel like valued guests. Throughout the evening, the staff checked on us multiple times, ensuring that every need was met and that we felt like royalty. Our time at Karahi Point Ajax was an absolute revelation. The impeccable food, the warm and attentive service, and the inviting ambiance combined to create an unforgettable evening. On the evening of September 11, 2023, we dined at Karahi Point, a restaurant I had discovered through a post in a local Facebook group. The post highlighted the restaurant's compassionate gesture – a sign on their front door that extended an offer of "free food if you have nothing to pay." This display of community support inspired us to pay a visit and show our support in return. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately struck by its elegant ambiance and stunning decor. We decided to try a variety of dishes, opting for three platters to share: the Lamb Biryani, Chicken Pakora, and Beef Seekh Kabab. Each dish was a delightful explosion of flavors, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. What impressed us even more was the warm and welcoming staff. Despite the restaurant's bustling activity, they regularly checked on our table, ensuring our dining experience was enjoyable. Their attentiveness added to the overall positive impression of the place.
Incredible Pakistani cuisine- from the Goat Peshawari Karahi to Chicken white Karahi, and the crispy garlic naans, it was just fab. The desserts were just OK but liked the color. Service was top-notch with the owner personally coming and checking in with us. Overall, an outstanding experience.
I always wanted to try this restaurant as last I tried was at Etobicoke location. We ordered the following dishes for a pickup on a Friday, July 16th evening for dinner: Combo 1: Half Chicken Karahi 1 Chicken Biryani 2 Naan 2 pops Salad and Raita Curry combo: Nihari Butter Chicken 2 Naan Salad and Raita The ambiance is beautiful, and the service was spot on as the food was all ready to be picked up. The staff was pleasant and the restaurant had a lot of parking. Unfortunately, food didn't meet the expectations, and usually, I am very flexible with rating, but 3 stars is definitely being very generous. It was a long day at the Toronto Zoo, and we were hungry, and the whole point of trying this restaurant was to reward ourselves with some delicious food. Chicken Karahi's chicken had a smell as if it wasn't cooked properly or the chicken was out for too long before being cooked. Biryani, on the other hand, was good but just like any other regular restaurant and nothing fancy. Naan had burnt edges as if those were left for too long in the tandoor oven. "Salad" only had few red onion slices and a thin slice of lemon like the one you decorate on a drink. Raita was ok. We only got 1 set of salad and Raita, and the other set was missing. Nihari unexpectedly was one of the best Niharis we've had in Durham. Butter chicken was a little too sweet, but my daughter liked it, so no complain. Overall, if i were in the restaurant, I would've definitely asked about their offer of not paying if you dont like it, but its ok. I am in Oshawa, and I didn't feel like calling or going back Once again, I do want to highlight the fact that it could be one of those days and you may have a better experience than mine, and I may try this restaurant again, but I'm not sure when. Flavorful and tasty food. The best briyani I have tasted this far. The lamb was tasty, tender, and full of flavor. We also tried the beef bihari kebab, and it was devine. The nan was soft, buttery, and tasted delicious. Everything smelled amazing from the herb and spices, Yum! What I really like was the large portions served. One order was sufficient for two people, so needless to say, the next day, we enjoyed lunch from the leftover. We also loved the prices. Take a few friends,it's worth it Vegetarian options: Lots of options for vegetarians Parking: It's a small plaza with ample parking spaces
This is our first time Karahi Point, we had Vegetarian Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Roghni Naan, Garlic Naan, Daal Tarka, Foods are good, Naans are fresh from oven, Basmati rice is cooked properly and fresh, I would say chicken Tikka masala could be more flavor , is little plain for me, but chicken is tender. I like the inside the decor, place is clean and good for group of people or any small occasion. Only one waitress for Saturday and helper she is friendly so no problem. Vegetarian options: They have Vegetarian options too.
Had a great experiance at Karahi Point Ajax. Charsi Karahi was the hit. This location has great ambiance , friendly staff. And the Owners Aftab bhai & Shehla were so nice and humble. This place is highly recomended to have dinner with friends & family casualy or foramly.Food: 5/5

We went to attend a party first time at karhai point and the experience was astounding. Food was fresh and delicious, menu included: Chicken karhai, butter chicken, choolay, biryani, kabab, fried fish, green chutney, salad, raita and Naan . After savoring got a chance to scan the restaurant . The ambience in a restaurant contributing to gain overall dining experience, above all washrooms were cleaned and maintained. I would go to try next time oakville location.
