Beware of bad food. What a disappointment! the food quality and taste USED to be much better, however on our two recent visits we found the food disgusting. Rice not cooked, the kabob was dry and tasteless, the owner is a nice guy but what’s the point if the food taste terrible. Based on my experience this place is becoming one of the worst Persian restaurants I have ever been to. Will not return for or recommend this restaurant.
The best Iranian food I've ever had!!! Love the staff as well. The food is truly home cooked : Will be coming back for sure.
If you want good persian food in Durham region, then this is your go to place. I ordered chicken souvlaki and it was really tender. It came with garlic sauce which was also really niceFood: 4/5
This hole in the wall joint in perhaps the best persian food in the Durham region. The arabian lamb they do is amazing and perhaps the best one I have had in the region. Their kebabs and rice are also delicious. Its run by an amazing owner who is humble but has magic in his hands. Great stuff!
Came here twice in a week with different set of families. This is a small spot accommodating approximately 20 people. I only saw one gentleman there serving and taking orders. Very very nice person, he even took me and my kids in the kitchen to show us his operation and it's quite impressive. Food was amazing! I've been looking for somewhere that serves Persian style healthy food, and I would put this up against Kandahar Kabab any day. In fact, we will likely come here way more often than Kandahar. The atmosphere is also very nice, with authentic wall art and table art. This will be a new frequent spot for us. Highly Recommend. Parking: Only about 6 spots available at the front. Maybe more available in adjacent plazas Dietary restrictions: Should probably ask him about but allergies as Persian food sometimes include certain tree nuts.
Absolutely disgusting. Pre-cooked, under cooked food that had absolutely no taste amd was of very low quality. The food looked and tasted like it was sitting there for days see picture.Food: 1/5
Loved it! Thanks for bringing taste of Persia to Durham : So unique and the chicken just melted in our mouth! The Arabian lamb shank was made spicy for us and again meat was delicious! The owner even added extra grilled tomatoes for us upon request. Highly recommended.
Terrible!!!! Unfortunately it was the worst persian food I ever had. Most probably it was precooked kebob, the rice was very dry and old. I wouldn't have wrote this review but food quality and service was disastrous .Food: 1/5
First and last time visiting. Food is wayyyy overpriced. If I’m paying 20$ for a dish, I expect to get the sauce on the side for free. Unfortunately it’s 2$ each. Khobideh tasted very strange. Not sure if it was old beef that’s been sitting for long, but first time tasting beef that tasted like that. Platters were nicely presented but what’s the point if food tastes bad.
Visited this place for lunch tried kubideh and lamb shank. Taste was amazing loved it, the food was so delicious and scrumptious Loved going here, the host was so humble and so friendly the place felt like home. Will definitely visit again
