Lambda Oriental Foods Supermarket

This little Asian grocery store carries the BEST quality grade A gailan Chinese broccoli and my favourite multi-layered green onion pancake from Taiwan. Lambda carries most of the essentials for Chinese cooking. The shelves are well-stocked, and the produce is fresh. They sell adorable rooster kitchenware that complements a hot pot meal very well. You get a discount on purchases made within a month if you spend over $30 and have your original receipt.

It was a very fantastic Chinese supermarket. You can find lots of things but Of course, most of the food in this supermarket is based on Chinese tastes.nIn the store, you can find all kinds of food and seafood materials. It also has a butcher section where you can find all kinds of meat. The butcher section has a very interesting and beautiful traditional Chinese design that I really liked.nThere are problems in the supermarket such as parts of it are not clean and there is a lot of feces smell. All products are prepared in the Chinese language and many of the labels are not translated into English. Also, at the entrance of the store, they ask you to put a backpack or a bag in the closet, of course, the behavior of the supermarket staff is very polite and pleasant.nnIt would be appreciated to follow me to discover beautiful Calgary and Canada together and let me know your valuable comments about my idea and photos.

Lambda market has been in Calgary for many years. Reasonable pricing along with a next door Asian bakery and Sun BBQ restaurant, meat and seafood stores as well. You can get most of the Asian / Chinese food stuffs here.

They had what I needed which was great. But the produce was getting a little old. The meat department did not take credit card which was a hassle for me. I was also having trouble using apple pay with their machines.

Fine array of foods from many Asian nations. Fascinating even just to walk around and look! I just wish for MaMa instant noodles from Thailand. My late mother used to like them so much that she had to limit her intake to avoid overloading on salt.
