One of the nicest coop in town. Very busy here almost every night possible it is a downtown location and mostly everyone would walk if you live near by. It is clean and fresh produce, meat and dairy.
Awesome shopping experience with so much to choose from. nearest train station- Downtown West Kerby, Free train ride within Downtown but make sure you have a day travel ticket to avoid being penalised if you go beyond Downtown.
It’s always nice to go to do grocery shopping and have people to help you. But not only that, at Calgary Coop Midtown, today I have the opportunity to be greeted at the self pay station by Karen. She was incredible, helpful and caring, with everybody, including two young boys that were kind of lost. She’s amazing! Thanks Coop Midtown and Karen!
A huge supermarket with almost everything available. I am coming from London Ontario so I feel like the things a bit pricy. Nice staff. The bags cost 10 cents compared to 5 in London. Just got here and thats all the things I noticed. They also have a Indian spiced section to welcome Indians, loved that. Carts are sanitized after every customer uses it.
Overpriced and often rotten food. I recently purchased coffee cream that was sour. I went back the next day to exchange it with another which also turned out sour. So I waited a few weeks and went back to get regular cream thinking the issue must have resolved. Again, sour. When your shipments of dairy get hot, throw them away. If you leave your fridge open and the dairy gets hot, throw it away. I am convinced this Coop knowingly sells bad food knowing that most ppl won't come back for refund. Regarding pricing - Small tubs of berries often with mould run for $7-10 on sake. Single nectarines over $3. We keep all of our receipts because we have to return rotten items so often. We never used to have this problem
I know this is a grocery store, but they advertise their bistro as a very good place to get food, it’s not, I had a burger, just thought I would try it cause their system looked cool, don’t try it. Please. Stick with the deli. Worst burger of my life. I don’t feel well now. Okay. Thank you.
Today at co-op during self checkout, I experienced getting aggressive customer service by a lady named “Rosabella” . She was very rude to me and was acting in a very disrespectful manner. She kept making faces in attitude and did not bother to listen or help me whereas I was very polite with her. I understand that we all have bad days but it does not mean we are going to take it out on other people especially our customers. I really love Co-op and it’s customer service but today I was disappointed.
Love to shop here! Very well laid out store, produce is always very fresh! Thankful they have a pick up option now as well.
Hands down Midtown Market one of the best Co-op locations in the city featuring an excellent selection of product in a bright, clean, and inviting environment. Parking can get busy on the weekends, but there is street parking all around the block. If you can't find the time to get in that weekly grocery run because of a packed schedule, this location is also open until 10pm every day.
I love this place. It is my primary place for groceries as it is always very well stocked, well organized, products are fresh and good quality and the staff helpful and very cordial.
