Bite - Grocer & Eatery

Eatery is fantastic, prices are decent. Much better than other eateries like Red's dinner that charge much more and are so noisy I look forward to leaving. The bite eatery has a discount on weekend mornings between 8 and 10am, on the Inglewood breakfast. Otherwise bite, is a nice little grocery. Many things are outrageously priced, others very reasonable. But, overall very happy to have Bite in the neighborhood, it's a weekly destination for us.

Well if I can be honest for a second...I don't smoke but I feel like having one after this meal. Salmon and Lamb Curry has to be the most succulent value meal in downtown Calgary! That was delicious to say the least. This is comparable to what other restaurants charge double for. Of course I might be biased because I usually come here for their breakfast which is awesome btw but the lunch menu compelled me to leave a well deserved review and the five stars are fully justified! My wife had the Baked Yam Short Rib and it is delicious, in fact we liked it soo much we ordered it again to go, for dinner. The sit down restaurant gets my highest recommendation as far as value is concerned... And you are not sacrificing on the quality of the food I can tell you that! Thank you to Tyler and Bites for the service, the value and the food!

My friend and I go for brunch almost every Saturday. We stopped by for brunch yesterday and had the weekend Eggs Bennie (she had a vegetarian version and I had salmon). They were both excellent! What made it even better is for an extra 2$ you can substitute the hash browns for a salad. The salad had an amazing maple balsamic vinaigrette. Will definitely be back!!!great service too!

When Bite moved from it’s small location to its big fancy new one across the road I have to say that I was sad to see it change and nostalgic for the quaint little market. I felt like it was really hit or miss in the beginning however I recently went for the all day breakfast and it was so good! Super cheap and simple but house made jams and bread, great coffee and in house bacon/sausage take the classic Inglewood breakfast to the next level. Worth giving it a shot even if you are more inclined to favour the small homey original Bite.

The food was fantastic and all freshly made on site. Meats smoked locally and breads baked on site as well. The atmosphere is fun and the staff fantastic. Shout out to Tyler for making it an extra great experience. Now look into that free range chicken coup on the roof idea.
