Lakelands Bed and Breakfast

1st stay in a B&B, and may never stay in another because they will never be as good as this one. Breakfast was amazing. Hosts were nice, welcoming, and informative. Gave great recommendations on wineries and restaurants. The home was clean and beautiful.

A fantastic getaway location. The owners couldn't be nicer, both the room and the breakfast were top notch. My Wife and I had a fantastic two nights here and we will be coming back.

My girlfriend and I headed to Niagara on the Lake for a wine weekend and an anniversary celebration for one of the first weekends of the 2010 season. We stumbled upon Lakelands in our hotel search and based on the images and prices we were sold - a little abnormal for us as we are not usually B+B types. Let me just say that you get a lot more than a great location and a beautifully decorated temporary home. June and Zoli are about the nicest hosts I have ever experienced in my travels, which are extensive, and the facility and food were both exquisite. June has decorated the rooms and house at a contemporary magazine level and they cook and bake amazing foods. We arrived to fresh baked cinnamon rolls, were offered rides and bikes to wineries and restaurants, given a refrigerator half filled with bottled water (the other half for wine, the two most important Niagara liquids...), which came in VERY handy the next morning, and were served a multi-course breakfast of exceptional quality: oven roasted pears with honey and granola, fresh fruits and yogurt, freshly baked bread and scones, and a fantastic keish. The bang for your buck factor is at it's best here. I often use Google Maps as a means of finding lodging and it has yet to disappoint. Clicking on a dot instead of a letter can yield extremely rewarding experiences and my stay at Lakelands was exactly that. I walked away with a very full stomach feeling like I was leaving friends; we will be back without question.
