I've had Chicago style pizza a bunch of times, at multiple places. I will proudly say that this is delicious and hands down one of the tastiest pizzas. The tomato sauce was so good, the cheese was cheesy, and the crust was oh so yummy. We also ordered a salad, which was so dang good. Highly recommended.
Decent Italian place with plenty of vegetarian options. Decided to have their Garlic Knots which were really good and had a croissant like feel to them. Of course had to try their Chicago deep dish pizza, but was slightly disappointed. It could use more sauce and more flavor. The cocktails were delish. The staff were friendly and the ambience was nice as well. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. I would definitely like to come back here to try their other vegetarian dishes.
Went here for dinner. Had a very nice server, he apologized for the long food wait times. It was the dinner rush so we totally understood, plus deep dish pizza naturally just takes longer to cook. Definitely one of the better deep dish pizzas I've had. But not one of my favorites. I got the Smashed Potatoes as an "appetizer" and oh my gosh they are soooo good! Definitely recommend! Overall, a nice dining experience!
Pizza Time! I went here on the sole mission to try great Chicago deep dish. I was successful. I expected to taste a gross soggy pizza that I have read all about, but to my surprise this was one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. Crispy, fluffy crust with tons of cheese on it. Fresh tomato sauce… like so fresh you get chunks of tomatoes which add an amazing refresh to every bite of pizza. I was upset I didn’t get more food at this place, but I did go back for a donut in the morning and it was top notch!
Walked by this restaurant tens of times when I lived in Chicago. This visit, I decided to go and try this place out, due to their bottom mimosa’s. This place did not disappoint. Food was good. People watching was good. And the mimosa’s were good. When the sun hits you while eating, it gets hot. I was seated outside, which i didn’t mind.
A very spacious but cozy place! Food was good and we were served very well. I loved the gnocchi and the “Zucchini Fritti” made me feel like at home in Italy. I probably wouldn’t suggest their pizza I didn’t try the deep dish, but all the rest was great!
This establishment screams Chicago! It is beyond gorgeous and the ambiance is lively! I love that in a restaurant! My husband and I visited this beautiful location on August 1. My husband did have a reservation for two. We arrived promptly and arrived to the podium. However, it was very confusing because we had never been here before. We didn't know if we needed to stand the at podium outside to be seated or inside to be greeted. I decided to go to the podium inside and my husbands stayed at the outside podium since no one was at either or. Service- A young lady passed me at the inside podium and went straight to my husband. After we were greeted, we were escorted to our seats. She led us to a high table. However, we asked the young lady if we could have a booth against the wall because where she was trying to sit us, had cheese crumbs, and was next to a party of about 10. The young lady was very rude after we asked. She looked at us and said "here", dropped off our menus and walked away. She did not care to assist us and quite frankly we were shocked. We then asked the manager if he could assist us and he was amazing. He quickly said yes, grabbed our menus, and escorted us to a less loud area with booth. Unfortunately, we didn't get his name but he was quick to fix our request. We ordered the Caesar salad which was a VERY generous portion. My husband and I shared between the two, which was more than enough. The salad was amazing. The lettuce was fresh, the cheese was tasteful and the dressing was finger licking good. We ordered the thin crust half all pepperoni and half with green peppers. This pizza was BEYOND amazing! The pizza was not extremely greasy like other places, the pepperoni was fresh and the green peppers were a perfect size for the square cut pizza. I will definitely be returning with my family for their delicious food!
First stop on our pie day pizza tour. We had a deep dish and it was amazing. It was a cheese pizza with basil and burrata cheese on top. The sauce was very tasty and the crust was amazing. They have this way of melting the cheese into the crust that sort of burns it but it's not burnt just crunchy. Amazing.Food: 5/5
Awesome spot, really gorgeous! Came for lunch. Service was great. Sat quickly. Staff new what they were doing! Very professional and knowledgeable. Appetizers came out in a timely manner. Got a deep dish pizza which took a little bit longer with reason! Definitely come for a great time! Outside seating too if you’re vibing with that.
Wanted to try both the deep dish and tavern style. Both were very delicious. The crust on the deep dish is both flaky and has those delicious black ends to it from the cheese. Tavern style was great too. Good introduction to Chicago pizza.
