I have been here a few times and I am always so delighted with my order! The pasta dishes taste so fresh and authentic. The restaurant feels intimate and is a good place for a date night.
Lovely place! Delicious home made from scratch pastas. Wonderful burrata appetizer accompanied with grilled artichokes and prosciutto. Tulip desert is fantastic.Food: 5/5
i had chicken & shrimp fettuccine… the shrimp tastes like it’s straight out the ocean, i told the Italian man & he goes “ well its seafood” like no, seafood that’s cooked correctly would not smell so strong ! The Chicken had a burnt taste. My lemon drop was good, and cute atmosphere… but no, not worth the money… i like poor Phil’s next door, all of their food was good
Stayed a night at the hotel that this restaurant is located in & I must say the food is EXCELLENT! I'm VEGAN & there were plenty of delicious options to choose from. The staff is also excellent! I highly recommend this awesome place for a delicious meal & great atmosphere!
Update 5/2021 - after moving, this place somehow managed to get worse. See my review on Victory - and I can't believe I'm saying this - but you're better off going there. The owner is completely checked out. Most everything is from a can including the artichokes in the antipasti, or stale meat plate as it should be called - see the photo with the prosciutto that looks like it sat out all day and the Vitello Piccata had so much salt I had to spit it out. When we asked the owner so taste it he had the nerve to say "I don't need to taste it, I know how it should taste". What? BTW - see the owner's response to my prior review and that's all you need to know about this place. --- Too expensive for both the quality, authenticity, and portion sizes. I don't know how anyone can give this place 5 stars - but, since the reviewers who did also gave "Buckingham Fountain" five stars - maybe you should try their Italian food : It's too bad because the service is pretty good, but they are clearly only making the attempt because overpriced food means over-tipping. If you want real Italian, don't eat in Oak Park. Go downtown.
Great Night Out in Oak Park! La Notte is indeed a gem. For me this quaint spot on Marion Street checks all of the boxes. Fresh, Authentic, Family Owned and Managed, Passionate, Engaged, Flexible. The wine list was wonderful. The Limoncello a delight, the cannoli a dream. The amazing attention to detail is rarely found in the business these days and it was truly appreciated during our evening. The Italian sea bass was plated table side and not a single bone remained. It was perfectly complimented by the grilled vegetables and prepared to order pasta. I am told it is made from scratch daily. it sure tasted like it was If you don't see it on the menu.. ask and they will prepare it for you! I am looking forward to my future experiences at La Notte in Oak Park!
The best Italian restaurant I ever been to! The pastas they have are just amazing! My mother and friends enjoy coming here and rave on how delicious the food is. The fish here is amazing And the Staff is very friendly..Go check them out!
The food is amazing, this is the place to go if you’re really old. Seems like staff turnover is pretty high, never see the same workers there..not sure why ‍
Super friendly staff with quick service! Drinks were delicious and so was the food. We had the salmon with jalapeños and the 8 finger pasta. So good! Highly recommend this restaurant
Knowledgeable, Attentive servers. Delectable food and drinks.Food: 5/5
