Used to love Buona but service and food has been brutal lately. Two orders in a row no sweet peppers. When I told manager on 3rd visit she gave me 2 containers of peppers. Yeah, that's the way to make that up. Never got free beef for National beef day and no response to inquiries. I went to Michael's and forgot how much better their beef is. Good bye Buona.
Peppers were hard, no seasoning on meat. Ladybugs lazy, place wasn't even buy and I stood there for 5 minute forever she walked over. Johnny's beef is 100 times better.Food: 2/5
Despite the traffic this is a location that inspired me to enjoy the franchise. At first I found all of the Buona beef corporation to be aloof, in the distant and somewhat vague although this location made it apparent as an excellent drive-thru option. Taste is good, love how you can add cheese and still has that hint of a true Chicago taste. The staff always curtails to my orders with extra effort. The popularity can have the drive thru crowded at lunch time, rush hour but it's a weekday go to
Disappointed! Buona Beef is one of my go to spots when craving a good Italian Beef. I live near the Oak Park location and the fact that they have a drive thru is a plus. I’m not sure who is working the kitchen, but my guess is that they assume that all Italian beefs are ordered the same. I ordered food for a family of 6 and made sure to order all of our beefs baptized per their menu option. Well, our beefs were not only DRY! They had the smallest amount of beef between the lightly moist bread. You would think I used a coupon for a free sandwich, in which I could possibly see their logic behind less meat, BUT, we paid full price for a poorly made meal.The amount of time that we waited at the drive thru to what seemed like a slow night for the establishment didn’t bother me so much, UNTIL I reached in to the bag and noticed the NOT so HOT fries! I can’t say that I would never go back again, however, my hope is that there would be improvement in service and that if one is paying full price that one would get what they are paying for.
This was always my go to restaurant for lunch. The service has gone down. Portion sizes are smaller. I placed an order to go on June 30th and for the first time I was going to try the rainbow slice cake. Right when I was about to walk out they told me they did not have the cake and they would refund me. I never received my refund. Very disappointing. Now this is my last resort restaurant. I decided to try Buona's again yesterday. This what my hotdog looked like. When I brought it back the lady had a very nasty look as if I was inconveniencing because I came back in and asked for either a new meal or refund.
Recently discovered the awesomeness of Buona! This was my first visit to this location in years. I had the 7 inch beef with cheese, hot peppers, baptized. It could have been dipped more, it was a bit on the dry side and lacked a bit of flavor, but overall, it was decent. Service was good and my order was ready when I got there. No complaints. I'll definitely return.
I tried to use my rewards points however the cashier didn't seem to care to assist me in how the app works. I was left to my own devices meaning I had to pay full price. When the app first came out it was so easy to redeem the points Now not so easy.Food: 4/5
Beatriz C. And the entire staff here were on point !!!!! Customer service was the best I have seen in yearsssssssss !!!! Everyone wore a smile, greeting you kindly and asking if you needed anything. The store was amazingly clean and the food was all fresh, and cold, and hot !!!! Everything was at its perfect temp. In dining fast food should be just like this. To the manager. Great team on 09/23/2022 around 1pm. I will come back. Thankyou.
The best beefs and I love mine juice and wet so you ask for your beef to be Baptisted
Wouldn't eat here again but the staff were nice. The food was just over rated. I has a salad where it was 2/3 iceberg lettuce. We tried a couple things. Just wasn't worth the money.Food: 3/5
