I had one of the best meals out that I think I've ever had here the other night. The special was salmon pasta and it was phenomenal. The gluten free pasta was good, and our cocktails were great. Gluten free pizza is also really good, they have quite a few vegetarian options, and outdoor seating area is spacious so is the indoor bar and inside seating. The Metra does pass every once in a while, but it's fast.
It was an amazing experience. I loved the food and the service. First of all, they give you at the beginning some bread with a great marina sauce and then we ask for the food, the size, the taste and the presentation of the plate was perfect. They have a great wine menu. I totally recommended it.
Pasta was 10/10 the Bolognese is fantastic! Also had the peach cobbler with rosemary cake topping and it is in the top 3 desserts I've ever had!
First time stopping there for a special event regarding my wife graduating from college. There was seven of us there and we all had phenomenal food and would like to point out that the bread is the best bread that we have ever had in our livesFood: 5/5
This hidden gem is snuggled up against other non-descript buildings across from the elevated train tracks, but there inside is well sound proofed. The outside seating is extensive and looks fun, with ample mood lighting, although it was too cool to sit outside when we visited. Inside, it's cozy with classy decor, showing off eclectic seating options and a bar worthy of a sitcom starring intellectual drinkers. While wines were plentiful and liquor options abound, beer choices are limited, but this was the only downside. The bread served at the table was warm, soft, and fresh from the oven, just right to soak up the supplied olive oil and parmesan mixture. Our dinner was delicious and each plate, from "small" plate to entree, was large enough to share if you aren't in the mood to stuff yourself. Desserts looked detectible although we had no more room left to partake! Prices aren't low, but it's worth it.
The place was off the beaten path. Service was very good they explain some of the items which we inquired it. Place was sort of soft wasn't quite as loud as other places. The appetizers calamari was grilled with tomatoes spinach white beans and a wonderful source with it the other appetizer was shrimp on a skewer and that was terrific. Two main courses one was pork thin sliced with a very nice source with that. And the penny with the Regatta the sausage and the source was just delightful all in all it was a wonderful experience I recommend it.
We had a small mishap with the bread at the beginning of dinner but the manager made things right. Food came out fast and was delicious, although the wait staff didn’t seem very friendly or attentive - with that said we would absolutely go back.
Love this restaurant. For appetizers was crab cakes and grilled shrimp, the entree was Chicken Parmesan and Jeremy was our Bartender. Every thing was so savory and delicious. I will definitely eat here again when I'm on this side of town.
Very inviting atmosphere with a welcoming staff. The servers were knowledgeable and recommended a great option beef tenderloin for dinner. It was cooked to perfection with great flavor along side a great recommendation for a cocktail. The vibe was very family friendly. Check it out.
We had an amazing meal sitting outside here. Initially were seated inside but I don’t love their ambiance indoors- TVs were on in the bar, it was noisy and not a great vibe. Seating outside is lovely though. Cocktails were all delicious. Orrrechiette pasta special with sausage and peppers was divine. Salads were also great.
