Place looks classic. limited area. Love all the food. The staff is nice. there don’t have a lot of staff so have to be patient. Recommend to make a reservation. There are a lot of choices for Crepe savory and sweet
French cuisine and yummy crepes! Loved this place, it felt intimate and authentic. It was my first time trying escargot, and I loved it! French onion soup was a must. I’d love to come back with a group of friends!
Sooooo very delicious! The savory and sweet crepes we simple and oh so good! The only drawback was the broth in the French Onion Soup could have had a deeper flavor. The atmosphere and staff were nothing short of amazing!
La Creperie is definitely a hidden gem, my favorite go to in the city. Have a chill environment and great crepes! Make sure to try their French onion soup. I love it here!
It's hard to find some place for crepes, however, La Creperie was really nice. The staff is welcoming and polite, fun to talk to. The atmosphere is pretty authentic, it's a bar with many posters about French culture. Speaking about food, portions are quite big, hard to eat in one approach. The crepes themselves were a little overcooked, I have experience in eating and cooking them, so from my perspective it's like that. Thank you anyways!
What was once the go to place now is a bit disappointing. I understand Covid changed alot of restaurants best sellers which I'll never understand. They got rid of all our favorites: the cocova, salads. Go for their curry crepe or dessert but stir clear escargot and dont expect anything from the past. Still good but not the same.Food: 4/5
I was in Philadelphia in October and had the best crepes EVER at Profi's Creperie in Terminal Reading Market. I've been having the taste for crepes ever since. Found this place and it had good reviews. I picked up two different crepes to go. I was so very disappointed. They were the worst crepes I have EVER had. What hurt more is that I paid $28. Terrible terrible crepes, cute decor, very nice host. I don't recommend this place and I will continue to search for some good crepes in Chicago.
So consistently great. Terrific crepes, and other dishes, great selection of wines, fabulous outdoor seating nice indoors as well, with really lovely service oriented staff.Food: 5/5
Love the authentic French food at this restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive. The crepes are exceptional and there is quite a variety of sweet and savory to choose from. They're large, so two people could share a savory for dinner and a sweet for dessert! And if you bring your movie receipt from across the street, they give you a special treat!
Overall: Great crepes and great atmosphere, will definitely be coming back here at some point! The good: Great crepes with a lot to choose from, either sweet or savory. The prices are pretty reasonable as well, and the crepes are quick large. The atmosphere is great, with a rustic feeling. Great music as well. Very intimate but not intimidating. The bad: The service, while friendly, wasn't the best. We were almost charged for more food than we got, the waiter also didn't understand the amount of our food or the request to have the dessert crepe to come out after our savory crepes. Atmosphere: 9/10 Service: 7.5/10 Food: 9/10
