I first want to give a shout out to the awesome staff!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, it really added to the overall great dining experience. The drinks were quite tasty and had a little kick that was appreciated after a long day. Each dish was timed perfectly and the flavor profiles were perfectly matched, much in thanks to the staff. The fish was perfectly cooked and the mild flavor was a great match with the flavorful sauce. The stuffed chili is a meal that you crave and annoyingly scrape the plate so you won’t leave any behind. I was told that the pork was tendered and took her back to a restaurant Miami. Lastly, the desert. That dessert is the kind that you really wish you didn’t agree to share. It was divine. Very happy we added this restaurant to our vacation.
Every plates is an artwork. The flavors are vivid, rich, fresh and special. My favorite is the duck waffle. Absolutely wonderful. Love the service and environment. The restroom is clean and beautiful. The only I don’t like is the dessert. It looks amazing however it does not amaze me. The dessert is just average.
Great brunch experience. <edit> After our first experience we decided to book the special Day of the Dead dinner. Wow! Service was great. The food was great. The wine pairings were great. We had a special evening that puts this restaurant in the top tier of restaurants we've eaten in anywhere. Strongly recommend!
Superb location, service, and food. We sat outside . They have a lot of nice and airy areas indoors along with a great bar area. Great cocktails and surprising combinations of ingredients. The octopus was stellar, I could eat that everyday. The tomato salad is not just any tomato salad; the combination of ingredients and the quality and taste of tomatoes nearly blew our minds. We kept saying how does a tomato salad taste this good. Never been a dessert girl but could not pass up this tapioca pearl based delight. Was not overly sweet and loved the texture combinations - the pearls dancing in our mouths as we giggled like little kids discovering something for the first time. And all these aspects combined is what makes a all star experience- and this spot definitely made it to my replay list! Will look forward to visiting again. Enjoy!
Great place with a great environment. Just about every corner or the place is unique and pretty nice look at as there is a lot going on. Food: I got their 12oz steak and it was pretty good 8/10 when compared to other well known steak houses. I included a picture of a dessert I got but don't recall the name- it is an amazing and a must have. To drink I had a black Paloma which was pretty good. Overall this is place you want to go on a date or somewhere to have a nice dinner and relax.
Incredible!! The restaurant is beautiful and gives an earthy, cozy vibe. The food tasted as good as it looks. The peach dessert was a hit! Not only was it super cute, I literally still can’t stop thinking about how yummy and interesting it was. Definitely a gem in Chicago!
One of my favorite spots in river north for an elevated meal with decent short term availability. Been here for brunch and dinner multiple times and have gotten consistently great service and food. Dinner menu meat dishes are all very good and they come with taco shells and things to top it. The duck and waffle for brunch is also amazing. Some items are personal dishes, some are to share.
Great Service, good food. As expected its high-end dining experience. Team Tzuco did a great job with the service right from serving water till the check. Never knew beet-roots have so much flavour. The fries were addictive, lamb and pork mains were good, not out of the world though and the rose dessert was the highlight!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: Yes
Go here with people who like to share food! I recommend going more appetizer heavy because the portions are still decent size and you can try more variety. The seafood dishes caught my attention but there’s plenty of choices for vegetarians or meat eaters too. The menu is very well thought out and seems to be adjusted seasonally. I don’t usually order dessert at dinner but it’s worth it here! For drinks, a pitcher of red sangria is cheaper than most the bottles of wine and paired well with all the food.
This place is gorgeous! Great for a date night, night out with friends, family or co workers. The food was good I wasn’t blown away like I wanted but it was still good. The sizes were giant so you were getting a decent amount for the price but it was a lot with appetizers and main course etc, so be aware of it when you go. The drinks were delicious and the use of different ingredients was also fun to experience. RECOMMEND!
