We planned to try this place based on my cousin's recommendation and it was so yummy.nnIf you are a traditionalist you may oppose but try before you make that call.nnThe flavours were exciting fresh and a symphony on your palette. It was their 7th anniversary so they had a special set menu .nnThe service was amazing. The are thoughtful and proud of thier establishment.nnThe atmosphere was fun relaxed and inviting ... my kind of place.nnAs Arnie would say ... I'll be back!
Not often do I rate 5 stars - food was exceptional here. Cannot recommend the carpaccio enough, burst of Vietnamese flavors with each bite. Ambiance was quite nice
These guys know how to work flavour. All the dishes were good, not a single miss. Very reasonably priced too. The atmosphere was a bit loud
Okay, so we came here the same day after experiencing the magnificence of Casse-Croûte MangeDansMonHood, because we found out that this place was the sister restaurant and it was that damn good. Best choice ever. Asian fusion at its finest. Immaculate vibes, just like their other restaurant —full of hip hop, anime, and Asian pop culture.nnThe lemonade smacked so hard we had to get another one to go. Their Tonki Burger, was an innovatively delicious take on a crispy chicken sandwich, which also hella smacked —pickled veggies and toppings on lock. The pho was just chef's kiss all around. They had in house hot sauce that was a tasteful step up from chili garlic and went so so well with the dish —and they had a petit pho option, which is super cool for people like my partner who eat smaller portions. The creme brulee dessert was also top tier —perfect crust on top, leading to a pudding of sheer decadence. It tasted to me like there were hints of matcha —but either way, an amazing rendition.nnThe service and our waitress were super chill, welcoming, and just so sweet. We can't wait to come back and try everything else on the menu. A shiny gem —pho real.
What an amazing specimen of food. I absolutely would not just recommend eating here, but I can’t wait to visit Montreal again to be able to go back. The flavors of all of the dishes were fantastic. We were part of a very large group and the servers seemed to have a difficult time adjusting to a big group 60 but it at no time deterred me from wanting ti go back. The carpaccio, kimcheesy poutine, and eggplant miso were the stars of their menu. Their cocktails were great too. Definitely looking forwforward to returning!
