Boswell Brasserie Artisanale

Went to this place twice in four days because everything is so good. Classic beer. The mussels and fries are outstanding, and the staff know their stuff. Cool, relaxed fun at a decent price awaits.

Came on a thursday night with some friends, we were seated quickly we had a reservation and served promptly. The two dark beers that I had were delicious. We started out with the fried cheese curds which came with excellent dipping sauces, then i had the house veggie burger. It was good but a little dry for me so i used leftover sauce from the cheese curds on the burger to spice it up, yum!

Came here in February with a couple of friends and enjoyed some beers, cocktails, and entrees. Very warm ambience in the winter, and they have large terrasse for the summer. Looking forward to coming back!

I had fried chicken and gnocchi. Both presentation and taste were great. The chicken was tender, the breading was savoury and the sauces had personality. The beer was great, I had a sour IPA. The service was solid. We had our service at the bar. The food is a bit pricy, but it's definitely worth the cost. It was more gastronomie than I was expecting. This place is a staple. It's worth the trek off the beaten path near the hype around metro Mont Royal.

I had 2 chewy, delicious beers and a killer smoked mackerel dinner here. Beer and food are a step from many of my brew pub visits.
