My first time at this charming restaurant in Montreal. The cuisine was fantastic, every dish was well executed. The flavours, smells and textures of all the foods we tried were amazing.nnFor something different yet familiar, this is a great place for brunch or dinner. Give it a try!nnThey also have a great drinks menu!
The food and vibes were great here however, you should beware that there is usually a line up. Overall, we spent almost an hour before we got seated and another 30 mins or so to get our food. However, the portions were great and the flavours were amazing! A bit on a pricier side but totally worth it
Went here just before brunch service was over so we were glad there was no line up and we were seated right away. We ordered the pistachio latte and the tiramisu latte which were both presented really pretty and tasted really good. Both drinks just had a hint of sweetness and you can really taste the quality of the beans. As for food, we ordered the Brisket n Eggs benny and the Chicken Waffles. The brisket was tender and was lightly smoky. The dish was food overall. The chicken waffles was crispy but moist and the gochujang sauce with the peanuts elevated the dish. Wished the waffles were a little more on the crunchy side but still tasted good as a whole. Definitely a must try!
I recently visited Antipode and was really impressed with their food. The Benedict was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked with generous portions that were both filling and savory. It’s definitely something I’d recommend to anyone looking for a hearty and satisfying meal.nnThe drinks were a bit of a mixed bag, though. The pistachio latte was great, with a nice, nutty flavor that complemented the meal well. However, the matcha latte could use some work—it was a bit underwhelming and didn’t have the rich, smooth taste I was hoping for. Overall, a solid experience and I’d definitely come back for the Benedict!
The smoked salmon and avocado egg’s Benedict was absolutely delicious!nnI was really looking forward to trying the lattes with the pistachio and bueno rim, but the actual coffee is sweetened beyond comprehension. We could barely finishing drinking them. It would be awesome to be able to order them unsweetened maybe you can, but I didn’t think to ask.nnWe went on a Sunday morning and waited about 30 min in line.nnOverall, I’d go back for the benedict alone!
