L'entrepôt RONA

Went to buy a kitchen faucet since was on discount.The one I have now need to be replaced so it was perfect to find one, like I wanted for some time , with a longer neck so this check all the things I wanted. Unfortunately for my wallet, I ended 8n the dangerous zone of Rona. Plants. I couldn't leave without some of them. 2 snake plants and a little fir bonsai. They didn't had bonsai mixture so I can transplant it in a bigger container but now, I have stuff to research and to take care of it. For the moment it's on the coffee table and it's a cutie.

Store is listed on the Canadian military discount but they refuse to give the discount after seeing it on their computer online. Low level supervisor treated me as if I was a begger in front of other customers. They did not know their store was on the list. They said their store policy does not have the military discount. Truth to be told, somebody who is way higher than this low lever supervisor, has made the decision to be on the military discount list.

Return policy is awful. They require paper receipt to do a return. It is the only store that do not accept a photo of receipt to do a return.

Bought a defective dish washer and got the run-around when I called the Frigidaire service support line. They only use Ateliers G. Paquette who gave me an inspection date out 7 WEEKS from the purchase date.nnReported back to Frigidaire and they didn't care. Called Rona and they arranged an exchange for a similar LG unit before the 30-day satisfaction guarantee was up.nnGood service with the managers at Rona.

I am very impressed with the service I got. I visited the other two major hardware stores around this area often and they were unknowledgeable and really unwilling to help. The service that I received from the plumbing dept guys and the quincaillerie woman was above and beyond what I imagined. Will be returning! The other stores lost my business.
