Story

Established in 1975, KW Bookstore is a 3000 square foot bookstore located in downtown Kitchener, making it one of South-western Ontario's largest used bookstores. As well as books, we sell vinyl, DVDs, art, and collectible film and music tchotchkes. We are also known for the largest and most diverse selection of new magazines in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.

A good selection of used books for sure, but this place excels when it comes to newspapers, magazines and periodicals. This is where I buy my Sunday New York Times, and Living Blues Magazine. The owner is Scott, who basically grew up in the used book trade and took over this business from its founder. A world class selection of magazines. Also a great place to bring your old books.

I love this book store!! I often find what I'm looking for and if I don't I always find an amazing treasure. They carry well-curated collection of books, vinyl and other ephemera. Scott is very helpful and the experience is always fun. A guaranteed pick me up on a low day.

One my favourite bookstores in the entire world. Seriously awesome with great owner and staff. Huge selection of new and use magazines and lots of books: well organized! If you love reading, visit this store.

Their lovely selection of books is only bested by their wonderful staff. If I ever find myself with spare time in Kitchener, I always hit them up. With an amazingly well organised magazine collection and a super cool record section, they are definitely one of my favourite stores hands down!
