KungFu Dumpling

I have ordered many dishes from this place through delivery services since they opened during the pandemic time. I have tried pretty much every dumpling and some other dishes here and loved them all, however I always thought it would be even better if I can have them right after they're cooked. Today, I finally had a chance to visit here. There are not that many seats. A table with 2 high stools at the front window and a table with 3 high stools at the inner wall. The two gentlemen working in the kitchen were very polite and welcoming. The open kitchen was clean and well organized. Delivery service people kept coming to pick up their orders ,but there were no other dine in customers. We ordered the boiled dumplings with cabbage, the pan fried dumplings with chive, the deep fried dumplings with shitake mushrooms extra fee, and Chinese eggplants with sesame paste. The dumplings were definitely better than the delivered ones. Traditional style thick dough was delightfully chewy, every filling was well seasoned with great flavours especially chives one. With a bit of broth in every single dumpling, it was absolutely worth to visit there in-person. I will probably go there as often as I order online in the future.

Very polite service and good food recommendations from the host. Love that you can see the kitchen and watch them boiling / frying dumplings, etc. It is clean and well organized. Very affordable menu and weekday specials yet the food is still great portion sizes. It was all super delicious. Nice meat to dumpling ratio too! My daughter said it “brought her to her happy place!” Excellent!!!

If you have had or have a Chinese Grandma that made you lunch or supper with love from scratch, this is pretty close to replicating that meal experience. The pan fried dumplings are so juicy they squirt juice into your mouth and out no exaggeration comparable to when you chomp down on a cherry tomato. It's not gourmet.... But it is made fresh and has heart to it. It's like... Simple... Classic... Chinese homecooking....

Cute little spot! Ordered pork/cabbage pan fried dumplings, green onion pancake, and chicken wings. Everything was delicious. The pancake was a bit dry but other than that very good. The wings were nice and crispy! Perfect size for me but some may feel they are small.

By chance we happened on this little dumpling shop. There is not much seating, but the shop was clean, bright and quant. We had pan fried dumplings, beef wrap/rolls and green onion cake. The dumplings are definitely the best that I have had in Canada. The dough slightly thicker like the traditional Taiwanese and Chinese style consistency of the dumplings was just right, the filling was seasoned well and had a bit of broth when one takes a bite into the dumpling. The beef wrap/roll definitely took me back to the ones I had in Taipei. The green onion cake is made more like the traditional kind, without layers and tastes quite light and delicate. The pricing was extremely affordable as well. We will definitely visit again at every opportunity we get. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Very tiny place can sit about 4 people. Super friendly staff and very considerate. They closed the door for me once they realized I was dine in. Ordered spicy wonton, food truly like other people mentioned, tasted like home made by your mom or grandma. The portion didn't look big but the meat inside was plenty and the flavour was tasted well balanced Price is very reasonable. Highly recommend

Found this little dumpling gem for take out. Solid food. The Beef Noodle Soup is the best I've had in Richmond. Beef is tender, noodles al dente and the broth have lots of depth. Also got their dumplings, super tasty, chicken wings is juicy inside and crispy outside. Very nice customer service too.

Affordable, delicious and fairly quick didn't look busy but was flooded with online orders. This place is legit THE best dumpling place I've been to in Canada. So juicy and the thickness of the skin was perfect. They recommended the homemade dumplings with the chive filling, the spicy wontons no 7.. Do note that going with the fried versions increase price and decrease the number of dumplings. I rarely go home and write a review this quick. And look out for their daily specials.. I suspect it will get reallllll busy real soon.

Great dumpling house in Richmond B.C. We bought pork dumplings. One style was in a spicy bath and they were so good! Will definitely order from here on future visits to Richmond.

The best dumpling I had outside China. Both versions boiled and pan fried are excellent, with juice flowing out with each bite. Dumplings are so good they made my day. Thank you!
