Haidilao

HaiDiLao is one of my favorite hotpot restaurants. Tonight, we booked the two VIP rooms with a minimum charge of $600. I found it very reasonable and given that the restaurant was packed, it was not a bad idea to hide inside of a room if your party is big. The food was fresh and the quality was good. I particularly like the prawns, beef tongue, and taro. The "change face" show and the guy demonstrating how to make noodles also added much fun to the evening. I would like to give my special thanks to our server, Lichia, who had served us attentively. She was very helpful and met all our needs. There were two October babies in our room, and the staff came in to sing us a birthday song in three different languages. To our surprise, we were given a small piece of cake as well. That was so sweet! I'd recommend to everyone who has craving for hotpot.

Haven't been to a hot pot restaurant in a long while. This one is extremely busy and expect a long long wait if you don't have a reservation. The staff is very friendly and professional. You order through their tablet menu with pictures so you know exactly what you ordered. Meat, seafood and all vegetables are very fresh. Self-serve sauce bar has over 20 items to make your special mix. The overall experience was very enjoyable. Must order the fresh noodle show.

One of the well-known hotpot restaurants not only in Vancouver, BC! The restaurant was clean, well organized, and well ventilated without any odor that a normal hotpot restaurant has even the restroom was very clean with some thoughtful items such as mouthwash! The service was prompt, diligent, amiable, and excellent! The meat, seafood, and vegetables were all fresh and delicious! The dipping sauces were all well prepared and easy to combine and mix them up to your own preference! The best of it was that you can order whatever you need to fill up your stomach without wasting any food! Thank you! Highly recommended! Wishing everyone come to try it out not only for the hotpot fans!

Came here with a friend for lunch at around 11:15AM on a weekday. It was really empty as they were just opening up. This was my first time being here and I was impressed with the customer service. I'm not a huge hot pot person but the customer service and the diversity of sauces definitely made it a great place. Food came quick and was good. Overall, enjoyed the experience and will definitely be coming back again.

My wife and I went here on a whim after we landed from Boston. We were looking for an Asian restaurant that was open late and didn’t really check the reviews. Have to say this was one of the best hot pot places we’ve ever been to. The service is top notch. The staff was friendly and always made sure our drinks were filled. The sauce bar has unlimited side dishes and fruits. The meat and vegetables was very fresh as well. I like that they also had a snack bar near the hostess station. You’re definitely not going to leave this place hungry and I highly recommend this place.

It’s my third time visiting HaiDiLao in Richmond. I’m a huge fan of hot pot, and HaiDiLao is always the one of the best place to go in Vancouver! Everything is so clean here,and food is always fresh and delicious. Me and my friends were really enjoying Lichia and Juno’s services, they were extremely attentive and friendly, they are the best! As well as the rest of the staff who continually checked up on us : Service here is 10/10 !There’s always someone to look after you without having to ask. They even provide aprons,hair ties and glasses wipes , how sweet are they Thank you again for celebrating my birthday!I had a really wonderful night here. Will definitely recommend to others !!!

We often go to the Vancouver branch, but today is our first time at this location. At the waiting area, there are free coffee, juice, and snacks. The server greeted us quickly and warmly. When we sat down to order, the server immediately brought us a plate of free appetizers. We always order the hot pot with half tomato and half mushroom broth because both are not too spicy, salty, or oily. The soup is filled with different types of mushrooms, some of which have a crisp and refreshing texture. We ordered scallops, sea cucumber meat, and lamb slices, which were all very fresh and beautifully presented. Their fresh noodles show is a must-try because not only is the noodle-pulling impressive, but the noodles themselves are also delicious. So far, neither of their two locations has disappointed me. If you have never been here before, you can try coming during the happy hour from 2-4:30 pm or after 9:00 pm when there is a 20% discount. Otherwise, you might need to make a reservation during other times.

Great service, superb entertainment, one of the best hot pot broths you can find and the ingredients especially the marinated meat are good. Tomato broth is a must have! Meat balls, shrimp balls, fish paste and so much more! If it's your first time here, please order the flying noodles and note that there is a special face changing cultural dance at 7pm. Every staff working in there aims to please. While waiting for your table, there are drinks, snacks and games to be played. Although somewhat lacking. Compared to the HDLs in Asia, I believe it's considered a great standard for Vancouver.

I’m a huge fan of hot pot, and HaiDiLao is always the one of the best place to go in Vancouver! Everything is so clean here,and food is always fresh and delicious. They have ice cream for when you finish your meal. I receive the earrings from HaiDiLao and I’m happy for the gift.

Friend recommended this place so we tried it for my birthday dinner tonight. First, seats were very comfortable and your given aprons to wear to protect from spashes. The staff was very friendly. Everyone said hi when we arrived and bye when we left. Everyone was very helpful with explaining the menu and choices. We had 6 people and ordered the comb for 4 and choose the 4 soup base option. Beware of the traditional spice soup base. Even though we ordered it a bit mild was still very spicy but tasty. Combo for 4 was enough for everyone but I did order some extras. Food was fresh and very delicious, especially the seafood! Your given a tablet to make your order on. Brilliant idea. The combo comes with complimentary plum juice jug, side sauces from the sauce bar and ice cream for dessert. Must try spot! It's a bit pricey but you'll leave satisfied like we did!
