This is a Chinese style BBQ restaurant. Making a reservation can make the experience better as you don’t need to wait in line not a long line though so if you walk in it’s OK. The service is pretty good, fast for serving food. Some food are quite good like bread, clam, butter garlic shrimp etc, while some other food may be OK - though the preference could vary from people. Limit 2 hours for the eating. Their stove is slow as the only middle circle area has good temperature for BBQ and the outside area doesn’t really help with cooking, so for 4 people of us we couldn’t finish all food within 2 hrs when we reached out to around 1.5 hrs eating time we were like 60% full as spent time waiting for food to be cooked. When reaching 2 hrs limit they came to ask us to wrap up the meal. I would suggest the owner to improve their stove quality so that customers can eat faster. I always finished BBQ in other restaurants within 1.5 hrs as a comparison. Overall it’s good, a little expensive average $50 per person for dinner.
If you’re a BBQ aficionado, this is the place to go in the Chinatown area. They serve all kinds of barbecue. When you sit on the table, they’ll provide you with a tablet where you can see the menu and and order your food from it. You’ll get your order in due time. I ordered several delicious bbq and a bottle of beer. What a night. Will definitely invite my friends here.
Better than I expected. Good variety of meats, and freshness/quality was definitely up to par. The beef cuts were definitely my favourite. Quite a few non-meat items as well i.e. seafood, veggies that were also quite good. Nothing really mind-blowing though. The grill itself was inefficient I guess the slow cooking time forces you to pace yourself and would flare up every so often. Service was friendly and quick. The iPad ordering system was easy to use and food came out fast. There is a 2 hr limit for all you can eat BBQ, and you end your meal with a popsicle. Prices were okay for the quantity and quality. 3.5/5
It was my first time to have Chinese BBQ here. They serve all you can eat bbq with a great variety on the menu to choose from. The restaurant was very clean and the service was good. The taste of their meat was very yummy. Unfortunately, they use a range burner to grill the food at each table. The burner we had could only allow us to set to one temperature/ level which was super high heat and no adjustment can be made. Therefore, it was extremely hot and all our food got burnt and everything was over done very quickly. We could not sit back & enjoy our food slowly because we had to pay close attention to our food. Our bbq experience there was under pressure because we did not want to burn everything and lid up a fire at our table. Hopefully, they can improve on their stoves to make the bbq cooking more enjoyable.
Not as good as Gyubee but still pretty good. Their grill is electric, not gas, which doesn't heat up as fast and it leaves the grill top uneven in heat. Meat quality isn't as good as Gyubee, but they have more sauces to choose from here.
They have a crazy variety of options here - the cold noodles and the miso beef in particular go hard. The servers here and environment are also very nice - whoever's playlist is on in the back knows what's good
I love this place. You get 2 hrs for all you can eat BBQ. I mainly go with the beef options as I do not eat pork. The side dishes also very yummy. I love love love the clams. The marination for all their dishes is spot on. Highly recommend it.
Great place for a BBQ lover! Tried a bunch of things, loved everything. They have a variety of options to choose from and my friends and I had a good time. P.S: try grilled pineapple, it's a personal favorite. They also give you a popsicle in the end, which was delicious!Food: 5/5
They definitely deserve this 5-star. I was wondering what kind of barbecue would be called as Chinese style as it looks a lot like Korean or Japanese style food. However, it turns out to be quite outstanding in the Chinese flavor. Especially the traditional Chinese sauce and the minced garlic dishes. Highly recommended to try! Hope they maintain this quality and service as long as possible.
Good price! Delicious food! Especially good customer service! I came here several times, the staffs are very friendly and helpful! The beef short rib, cold noodle and cold clam are gorgeous!
