Kukoon Yoga is a small and passionate yoga venture located in Port Moody, British Columbia. We ‘heart’ all things yoga, specializing in Prenatal Yoga, Babe & Me and Just for Mama classes.

My wife and I found Selena's custom yoga classes for motherhood to be SO valuable. We were so lost and Selena's videos really helped us understand what to expect and how to prepare for pregnancy and birth. We're so happy we found Kukoon Yoga and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is expecting.
I began going to Kukoon when I was 5 months pregnant and the prenatal classes were great. The instructors helped me feel more comfortable physically and mentally, and they were so knowledgeable in prenatal care and preparing for delivery. I now attend the babe and me classes, they are a great way to get some stretching in while meeting other moms and letting the babies interact with each other. The "Just for Mama" and "Rest & Renew" classes are a great way to unwind from the busy days! I love this studio, it has a great sense of community and is so welcoming to everyone!
Kukoon yoga is more than just yoga. As a first timer, it helped me prepare for birth and gave me a lot of confidence going into the big day. I especially loved that the content was tailored for each week of pregnancy and included information about the changes I could expect both inside and out. Highly recommend!
Review So grateful to have found Kukoon yoga. The prenatal class on Tuesday nights with Mandy are just what this momma needs! I truly appreciate her passion for yoga. Mandys gentle but grounding practice really helps me let go of the day and refocus my energy towards baby. I also love her affection for all mommas. You can really tell she loves empowering women and helps each of us get the most out class every week.
Amazing yoga with Salina. All the classes are perfectly explained, and makes you more passionate and curious about it. Pregnancy is a long journey and I can not imagine doing this without Salina and these amazing videos.. I'm learning more than I ever thought and everything will help me, my husband and my baby to have the perfect start as a family. I do recommend Kukoon yoga to all the women that need support from the first day till the end, don't want to get to the birth day without knowing what's happening and wants to be ready for when baby arrives. Thanks Salina for your help and your love for what you do.
Going through my first pregnancy and having so many different apps available, it was not an easy task to choose one. When I found out Kukoon Yoga, I went on their website and I really liked the vibe, calming, soft and benevolent. Salina, the main teacher, with her diversified experience doula, yoga instructor, mom, I felt I could trust her immediately. I took the 2 weeks free trial and started off with the meditation part which I enjoyed immensely. Then I got to try the yoga part... a new practice for every week of your pregnancy so it's not too demanding. During the practice, there are also very useful advice and tips for a healthy pregnancy and labor. I feel there is so much more to learn and I can't wait to utilize all the tools offered. However, I skipped the practice this week because I was into my 8th week and was feeling very tired. But I wish I could continue this very special journey with Kukoon Yoga. My last yoga session ended with: "The light in me honors and bows to the light in you, and the little light inside of you." How beautiful is that!
My online kukoon yoga subscription has been invaluable. I practiced every morning leading up to birthing my babe and used the tools I practiced in the classes in labour helping me to feel completely in control and enjoy the process. The classes are full of so much useful info as well as 'homework' to help prepare for what's coming up. There is ongoing support through all trimesters including after birth, Ive felt very looked after and will definitely be recommending this course as well as use it again for next baby :
I took Kukoon's prenatal classes all the way from 12 weeks to 37 weeks during my pregnancy. I left every class feeling so much better than when I arrived; I truly looked forward to the class every week. I learned so much from Salina her enthusiasm is infectious! and her tips and tricks for labour helped me immensely during the delivery of my first baby. I would highly recommend Kukoon Yoga to anyone looking for passionate instructors and a fantastic yoga experience.
I'm nearly 34 weeks pregnant now & have been attending Kokoon Prenatal Yoga classes since the 1st trimester of my pregnancy. The experience has been great - Salina & Christina provide so much guidance and information on pregnancy, childbirth and relaxation. It has been so helpful for me. Additionally, the atmosphere in the classes are great and I feel much better prepared for what lies ahead in terms of giving birth to my 1st child & taking care of myself & baby postpartum. I intend to continue going to classes as long as I can & also to attend some mom & baby classes once my little one is here with me :.
This is a great class with lots of information for mother's to be. The instructor for the saturday classes is so personable and very knowledgeable. I only gave this three stars as I find there is a lot of talking and knowledge sharing and not as much yoga as some other classes out there. I was hoping they would be more focused on yoga poses and movement as I attend birth classes as well. The weekend classes are one hour and the yoga portion seems to be 40 minutes of that time. If you are looking for a mix between pregnancy/birthing classes and yoga this is the class for you. Highly recommended!
