I had a very good experience at Kootenai Health. Everyone that helped me was friendly and positive, and main hospital staff I interacted with, a nurse and the anesthesiologist, were gentle, caring human beings. So different from other hospitals in my past. I was made very comfortable, kept warm and treated well. I really appreciate the fact that everything was recorded on paper, from the procedure consent form to the handling of my belongings while I was otherwise occupied. Thank you very much, Kootenai Health for clearly working hard to show your patients they are respected and valuable as human beings. The things that happen at a hospital are not always pleasant, but you made my visit overall a very good one.

This was my second surgery in four months at Kootenai. Their staff rocks! The check in process is streamlined and informative, the pre/post op staff are amazing, and the facility is easy to navigate. The staff really make the procedure as stress free as possible. They are personable, knowledgeable, compassionate professionals who take the time to engage their patients in a supportive, positive manner. I highly recommend Kootenai for your surgical needs. LC

I had a very positive experience in the emergency room. I was surprised how peaceful, friendly yet efficient everything felt, in the midst of my alarm state. Everyone was so kind and very personal, making me relax and feel well cared for. I also appreciated that the doctor started me on a low dose to check my reactions before giving a full dose. So much better than my experience of emergency rooms in other locations!

I have continuous neurological health issues that are chronic. I have to go to Kootenai Health, and affiliated services, on a regular basis and they are almost always great. There have been a couple issues with a doctor and staff, but they are by far a rarity and that is going to happen with everything. When I told them about the less than stellar experiences they addressed. We have also been able to take advantage of their charity program to help pay for services and that was also a great experience. I am happy to have such a quality facility in our town.

Our experience with my 4 yr old being hospitalized was great. All the staff starting with the emergency room to pediatrics were great communicators with each other and us. It was very reassuring and felt our son was in great hands. KMC sure has come along way. Keep it up!
