I was there with a friend for one night a few weeks ago. I do not understand all the negative reviews. Our room was clean, the mirror in the room was a little smeared but no big deal. The room is dated, and the bathroom is very small. And as I've read in the reviews, the water is only 'warm'. It's not a big deal! There was no dust! People have complained of stained bedding. Ours was fine! My guess is that the motel keeps their bedding longer, and so more washings and therefore the white has faded. Again, no big deal! My friend and I will definitely be back. I did, however, have an issue with the TV, but with playing with the converters, I figured it out. Upon checking out, I did speak to the cleaner, and she was very pleasant, as was the guy in the office.
Good service, rooms were not good. Rooms are dirty. Many broken items and holes in the door. Hair on the shower wall. Theres a light right outside of the room that shines through an unblockable window all throughout the night. AC barely works leaving the room very hot while its 24°C outside. Water is also barely warm enough to shower, even on max. Overall rooms feel poorly maintained and unhygienic.
I know Motels are generally cheaper because the decor or amenities aren't as good as Hotels but I have to say I stayed at this Knights Inn and it looked and felt that they rent rooms by the hour.nI made a reservation on line and did not have to pay until check in. The front desk called me the day of my reservation to say I haven't paid yet. I was put off with that.nCheck in was quick.nThe room- 2 double beds. Dingy as you walk in. Stains on the bedspreads, stained chair and the other chair had what looked like cigarette burns. Curtains dusty and dirty. Mirrors so streaked you could barely see your reflection. Couldn't change the channel on the t.v. Smoke detector covered with a clear plastic bag.nBathroom - no fan so the paint on the ceiling excessive peeling. Hole in the bathroom door - looked like a punch. Tiles broken and replaced with different ones.nHeat- couldn't fiind the thermostat and it was hot in the room. The air conditioner was up so high, couldn't reach it but honestly it was so dusty, dirty, and rusted I didn't want to touch it.nBeds- was impressed that I did not find any traces of bed bugs. Overall comfortable.nWindows were dirty inside and out.nLocation was near the Go Station which is what I wanted.nPoor lighting.nI would not recommend this motel unless you wanted it for a couple of hours. Room number was 24nThe pictures on their website are misleading. The property may have looked like the pictures when it was first opened but it no longer looks like that. Owners should not be allowed to mislead the public like that.nMy stay was April 8-9
HORROR! READ THIS FIRST! This is not a motel for travellers. Aside from 2 rooms with dirty bathrooms and beds that looked like they were never changed, we noticed people coming out of the other rooms who looked so high that we were fearful. We ran back to the office and ordered a refund on our deposit. This is a crack house with scary people in it! Avoid! Danger!
It is perfect for the cost. Beds were comfy enough. The jacuzzi tub was a great additional experience and super relaxing. I did find the water didn't get very hot but not a deal breaker.nnGood price. Owner I believe he was the owner at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.
