Kinsmen Play Park and Spray Park! It’s the perfect spot for families with kids of all ages. The playground has lots of fun and safe equipment, with areas for both little ones and older kids to enjoy. There’s plenty of space to run around and explore.nnThe spray park is a huge hit—especially on a hot day! Lots of water features to splash in, and it’s well maintained and clean. We appreciated how the area has lots of shaded spots, benches, and picnic tables for parents to relax while keeping an eye on the kids.nnThere are also washrooms nearby and lots of green space if you want to bring a picnic or just stretch out on a blanket. It really feels like a full day outing without having to leave the city.nnThere are also many amenities inside the sports centre.nnHighly recommend it for a fun, free, and family-friendly outing!
Huge swimmer’s paradise type of aquatic centre. Big deep pools, large hot water pool for thermal immersion without the jets/chlorine foam, professional athlete grade locker rooms with big shower areas speaking of men’s section. Loved the tall ceilings and overall volume of the facility. Sparkling clean waters and surfaces. Absolutely stunning! Dumbbells with “Edmonton” logo was great to see. Saunas seem to be accessible from dry main hallway though, I think would be better to connect them to locker rooms to be closer to showers and overall wet areas, but not a huge deal. Easy and fast check in process if you know what you want.
Amazing facilities, you can pretty much play any sport and they have a big gym too! Pro-tip: if you’re hiking in the area or having a picnic, you can pop by here to use the toilet or refill your bottle or check your weight!
Beautiful grounds! We went to wander around the park and was very impressed with picnic areas available and free parking. Plenty of space for lots of people to enjoy without feeling over crowded. Excellent water park for kids and adults to cool off on a hot day.nWill definitely come back with friends and family to picnic.nnGreat scenery of downtown and the bridge!
One of Edmonton’s most versatile and underrated facilities. Whether you’re swimming laps, hitting the gym, or playing court sports, this place delivers. Clean, well-managed, and built to handle serious training or casual workouts. Plenty of parking and a solid location in the river valley. Great for families, athletes, and everyone in between.
