It is still under construction so I can't give a lot of info, but from what I've seen and have known, it is a great conservation area. The first time I was there, I was amazed and excited over how tall and beautiful the "prairie" was. It truly gives us a wonderful view of how Iowa was in the past. It was fun to visit in the snow so I'm the spring should be nice as well.

Great place for a hike. My son and his Boy Scout Troop love camping there. Quiet, well kept place. And the Rangers are very friendly and helpful

Great park! Beautiful, lots of great spots to "dissolve" yourself in nature. There are a camping site and a tornado shelter. There are quite a few shelters for BBQ and kids playground. An old agricalural tool displayed at the high grounds and a binocular helps to see all surrounding landscape. Park Rangers are very friendly.

Beautiful, quiet place for a relaxing AND challenging run (or hike if you prefer).
The lake is currently dry (Jan '18), but will be filled back up soon.
The bridges are a neat break around the lake. Bathrooms at Knights Pavilion & Bob White Shelter.
Be sure to include some hill repeats up Bob & Bob's Evil Twin hills! (12% grade to ~9-10% respectfully)

A great place to get outdoors and hike, run and or fish. The camp ground is very nice. Camping spots aren't right on top of each other.
