East Lake Camping

My parents took me camping here for a nice vacation and break from school. The campsites for RV's were very close next to each other, which did not feel like you had much privacy. We were trying to have a relaxing fire and several campers near us were talking very loudly and cussing at almost every other word. Restrooms and showers could use an upgrade. Owners seem like very sweet people, though. We decided to leave a night early, partially because of the noise from our neighbors.

Stayed there last weekend and had a blast. It was the first week they were open and you could tell they were starting to put alot of work into the area. Our campsite was clean the grass was mowed and well maintained. Some of the amenities were looking like they were in need of some upgrades like the shuffleboard area and the kids playset was needing small bits of attention but other than that it was great. Highly recommend for a nice rustic feeling getaway.

The new owners need to take better care of their bathrooms, better Sanitation, there was no water in the bathrooms the note said to wash in thd bathhouse but no soap or paper towels were provided. If they don't start taking care of those things they are going to loose campers.

Came and brought my kiddos swimming, brought back so much childhood memories from when i was a kiddo myself, we will make this our new spot, warm and welcoming family oriented, great place

Big campground lots of things to do. Lots of nice people.
