Our Calgary physiotherapy and acupuncture clinic has been in operation since 1991 in this location with 25 years of physiotherapy experience. We are a family owned practice and currently have six employees on staff to provide you with a high standard of service. Booked an appointment apprx. 2-3 weeks ago and the first they had available was this morning at 11. I asked on the phone if they did direct billing and said that I had benefits through school. The woman I spoke with confirmed that direct billing would be available as long as I brought my insurance information to my first appointment. I showed up 15 minutes early today so I could fill out any necessary forms before my appointment. I completed all the forms and then handed everything to the receptionist along with my benefits information and then she told me that they didn't do direct billing for students. I wasn't able to go ahead with the appointment as I obviously hadn't planned to pay for it myself today. It's pretty unacceptable to be giving clients incorrect information about billing practices. It was not miscommunication, but misinformation. I only gave 2 stars because I can't speak to the services themselves.

Wow- Gord Dewar does fabulous work! Broke my shoulder 3 years ago and orthopedic surgeon said I may never get back mobility to before break ,and another young physio therapist said there was nothing more they could do except give me exercises. Since seeing Gord he has got me back to almost 100% range of motion through him working on my arm, using his wonder machine to stimulate it and exercises. Highly recommended clinic- Thanks Gord!! Terrific staff! Very friendly and accommodating. My lower back was in such a bad state that my day to day life was becoming very compromised. After two visits a week for a few weeks Gord had me back to 100%. He pinpointed the injury immediately and also gave me a few stretches that have kept the injury from returning. Great experience.

I can't say enough about Gord and his team at Kensington Physiotherapy. Everyone knows your name and cares about how things are going with you. The service was exceptional with high performance results and knowledge. I have never had a better physio experience than I did with Kensington Physiotherapy. I highly recommend their services.

Gord is the best physiotherapist I have visited! Highly recommend him & the friendly staff at Kensington.
