We stayed at this campground for their Halloween weekend with another family. We got camp sites next to each other. We wanted full hook ups but were told there weren't any even though when we were there we walked around and saw multiple full hook ups with no one on them. (It appeared there had not been any one on them for a long time) We live within 15 minutes of this place but thought it would be a fun family weekend with our kids and our friends kids. They had stuff for the kids to do, a haunted house and a camp wide potluck which was nice.
The reason for only one star, we had a serious problem the entire weekend with what we thought were bee's until we spoke to some other campers around us. These things were everywhere and extremely aggressive. Our kids spent a great deal of time in the camper because you almost couldn't sit still outside. We were told by other campers they were ground wasps which I have looked up some things online and it does appear they looked more like wasps than bees. My husband was stung on the back of the neck and when I went to the camp store to see if they had Benadryl because his face and neck were swelling they knew of this issue and just commented "aren't they bad this year!" one lady said "they aren't just bad here they are bad at my house too" Well like I said we don't live far and have never seen one of these on our property until we got home from this campground. They had stayed on the camper somehow and we were still fighting them in our own driveway! So I am guessing that's why the lady that works there has them too! Now I'm worried they are going to nest at our house! I will be calling an exterminator if we continue to see them. Something this campground should have done a long time ago!

We stayed here about 9 years ago and it was a great place. We were in town this time for a family emergency and decided to stay again. Big mistake! The staff was extremely rude, at best. My wife had requested a full hookup for our travel trailer. After we checked in we realized that our site had no sewer. We were then told that they had no sewer sites available. Unfortunately, all other campgrounds were book and we had no choice but to stay. There's much more to this story that I won't bore you with but we will never stay here again and I would not recommend them to anyone.

PROS
Good value. Electric and water pull-through 60 ft grass site for $30/night. Trees. Decent view. Good spacing. Poor wifi at our spot, but good wifi from office.
CONS
Staff not friendly to transient (non-seasonal) campers. Rejected my Amazon package. This demonstrated lack of respect for campers. My package was labeled per instructions, but was rejected upon delivery. HUGH potholes in gravel entrance road almost wrecked the undercarriage of my rig. Ugly algae in pond. Mostly seasonal campers.

Our stay here was extremely unpleasant. The owners of this campsite use borderline extorsion tactics to rip you off and get more money out of you. We paid per lot, per person, per car. Once we had arrived and set up our tents, a manager approached us and told us we needed to pay for each tent or leave. If you want a refund, they'll charge a $10 fee. Also, the "lot" really just means you have permission to set up your tent in a field, with no trees or privacy. We will not be returning.

Campground was nice and clean however the ladies in the office were the rudest ever. I made a reservation over a month in advance, upon arrival they insisted that I pay an additional $20 for "singer/songwriter" weekend. I was never told about that when i made my reservation so I should not be told that I owe it when I arrive. They were also trying to charge me for Sunday when that was the day we were leaving. I refused to pay for Sunday and at that point she was drilling me with we better be gone by noon. Not a problem I am a early riser and that is pretty standard campground check out time. I felt they were attacking us because we are a young couple. Not a very welcoming place and don't plan to go back
