The store is okay—honestly, pretty solid in terms of layout, organization, and overall atmosphere. We went in with a $50 gift card that’s been sitting around for a couple of years, thinking it would be the perfect excuse to pick up something early for the kids. Between three teenagers, a young adult, and Christmas around the corner, you’d expect it to be an easy mission.nnWe took our time. Walked every aisle. Looked at games, collectibles, tech, art supplies, and everything in between. The shelves were well-stocked, the staff kept to themselves unless approached, and nothing felt chaotic or messy. There wasn’t anything wrong with the store at all.nnBut somehow, nothing clicked. Nothing stood out as the right fit. It wasn’t a matter of price, or lack of choice—it was more like the selection just didn’t match the phase our kids are in anymore. It reminded us that Toys R Us still leans heavily toward younger families, and once your kids hit the teen years, finding something that feels relevant becomes more hit-and-miss.nnNot a bad visit. In case anyone is wondering, Toys “R” Us is trying to avoid going out of business by “restructuring” and they have decided the best way to do this is by stealing from people.nnWe received a $50.00 gift card to Toys “R” Us less than 2 months ago, and we are now being told we can’t use it, even though the store is still open and it was basically just purchased. We did not find out about this until we saw it on the news a day after they were no longer accepting gift cards.nnWhen I called this store to explain and ask them to honour our gift card, I was told no and when I tried to question the ethics and the principle of the matter, I was yelled at by the manager and hung up on.nnA beautiful legacy being left behind by a children’s toy store.

Toys toys and more toys and then much more. The store is clean and well lit. There is plenty of parking and easy access to the store. From board games to remote control vehicles to dolls to bicycles and everything else in between. I am a total fan of Lego and there is a huge selection at the store. Love the store and will continue to shop here.

This is such a fantastic store, I love taking my kids here for Christmas list shopping. It can be a bit more expensive than other places but it sometimes has good sales. I do miss how much there used to be in the baby section. Having the HMV area is an added bonus.

This store has every toy you could ever imagine and great sales if you go on certain times during the month. The store is very clean!
