Went there twice in two days just because the food is so amazing! Just like guilt-free homemade food. The staff is very sweet and polite and understand what the customers need. The ambience is nice and clean. Would highly recommend!
I first tried their biryani through ubereats and I was very impressed. This time I decided to dine in.I ordered chilli chicken and boneless chicken biryani, both dishes hit the spot. Mango lassi was refreshing. The servings were more than enough, prices reasonable and place was very clean. Server was very attentive and gracious. I will definitely be back.

The Darbar is such an amazing restaurant I ever visited in my life. The food here is fresh and so tasty. If anyone wanna try the real taste of Indian food please do visit here. I ate daal makhani, garlic naan, amritsari kulcha and dahi palle it’s super yummy and sev puri too. My sister loved indian style burger she want to visit every single day. I wish we can visit this place on regular basis. Moreover, the price and quantity of food is excellentI saw some negative reviews on google. Maybe it’s not good enough for that people. But if anyone want the real taste of Indian food I highly recommend this restaurant. I wish all the best to the new Restaurant owners
Out of all the indian places I have had to so far in GTA this probably one the best ones because of the following reasons 1. Less crowded. 2. Hygienic. 3. Custom changes are respected. 5 stars for that! 4. Taste is good. 5. Amazing value for money !
I ordered Uber Eat delivery, Chicken Tikki Masala, Palak Pineer, 2 regular Naan bread, one chicken samosa, I've been ordering and dining in since the Mount Everest time, they are the best of the best. then they closed down and now they are back under a new name Darbar, they claimed to be the same team of ME. But the Palak Pineer, I wonder what happened? Totally lack of flavor. One of the worst I've ever had. The Chicken Tikki Masala is good, but the flavor is so similar to butter chicken. TBH, I'm quite disappointed.
We have been looking for good Indian food in Ajax for a while now. Had an amazing food at the darbar restaurant. Staff is friendly and very informative. Such a good experience of food. We tried soy champ, very delicious. must try. Worth visiting this place. we will come again.
This place is another meaning of disappointment! Very small portion for the price you pay and the food tastes very bland! The staff is completely clueless and don’t own the mistake/negligence. They have Special Amritsari Kulcha for $12.99 - the picture in menu shows 2 kulchas and we confirmed the quantity before ordering with the gentleman taking order, he confirmed to get 2 kulchas. When we received the order it only had one kulcha so we let the serving lady know, she said the picture shows 2 small kulchas and the one you got is larger in size so you get only one kulcha, order second one if you want! Bengan Bharta completely ruined the mood, it was just crushed eggplant with zero flavour! Paneer Tikka Masala was very watery. Overall bad experience! ***Wow! there were additional five star reviews immediately posted by different Mr.Singh and Mrs. Kaur right after a dissatisfied 1 star review and these new reviews would say exactly opposite to the dissatisfied reviews. P.S Restaurant is owned my Mr.Singh and Mrs.Kaur Strange and suspicious, isn’t it!!!

I have been ordering butter chicken with white meat for an extra charge here forever. I called to place an order today and apparently they no longer have white meat. That really sucks because it’s my absolute favourite butter chicken. Unfortunately I will have to go elsewhere now
