Recently visited here for the first time and it was a pretty nice experience because you get good quality and quality food at a same time. I ordered Andhra Chicken Curry and it was so delicious, mouth watering and indian spicy curry with lacha parantha. Customer service is also good with decent atmosphere of the restaurant.Food: 4/5
Surprisingly not busy on a Saturday evening..either we were too early or .. customer come really late.. Place was huge ,neat and server was very nice . Food was pretty good . We had 65 dosa... could have been more crisper. Dum briyani was good.. Over all good food and service
Revanth and Mukul were very good and friendly. Loved their courteous behaviour and served us very well. Ritwick was great too I loved the food. Chicken 65, Chicken dum biryani and Daal fry were exceptional. In fact we had to order chicken 65 dosa again since it was so delicious. Being a North Indian I was bit skeptic about the food taste since it’s operated by South Indian team chef, etc but the food was amazing and I was delighted. Little south twist I will have to go again all the way to Ajax to eat next time. I live in east York Toronto. Revanth and Mukul should get a pat on the back for being so friendly and helpful. owners pls take a note and also ensure you Chef doesn’t go anywhere else, he is a treasure Highly recommended!
Had dinner at this location on a Saturday evening. Parotta & naan were awesome. Chicken could’ve been a bit more spicy as it was marked with 3. But though spice level was less it was very tasty. Portions were good & very reasonable. Thank you Chowrasta!
We went there on Saturday evening for Dine In .. the restaurant seems a little quiet which is good for a family with kids .. upon inquiring the owner very nice gentleman explained that they are getting more take out orders vs dine in and they must be as the food here is Amazing .. we ordered Cut Mirchi, Chicken Tandoori Full, Nizami Chicken Qorma 2, Shahi Chicken Biryani, Ghee Roast Mutton Biryani, Schezwan Noodles and Garlic Naan 8. The owner also gave us complimentary Mango Lassi for the kids which is amazing. The reservation was done in advance and the table was all set before we arrived together with complementary bottled water 8. We were 5 adults and 3 kids. Total was around $140 before tip. Nizami Qorma and Biryani is a must must try. Overall the food has a great taste and we will definitely return to try more menu items. Areas of opportunity: The service was a little slow as they only had 1 person taking order and serving and also handling the cash/reception. Washroom was not clean and the garbage can inside was more than full which may raise questions on hygiene. Tip paid with the bill doesnt go to the server so we paid cash to them. I wouldve rated 4.5 but there's no such option and a 4 would not be fair so rating a 5. The restaurant is located in a big plaza with a lo of parking but no accessible entrance or a parking. Everything is SO delicious, def get their shajahani curry chicken & ghee roast chicken biryani and it will blow your taste buds away. Be sure to call and order in advance as it can take some time to prepare ie 40 mins but it is so worth it for the amazing flavours
Had a not so good dining experience. During order taking time, we were told that biryanis can be served within 5 minutes as it just needs to be warmed whereas appetizers like kababs will be served in 45 minutes; so we skipped ordering appetizers and jumped straight to main course. Each order took 45-50 minutes to be served. Moreover the taste wasn't great for Chicken dum biryani, maharani chicken biryani and chicken fried rice. Only gongura lamb biryani taste was good. However we were being served with fridge cold salan and curd - making us doubt the freshness of items being served.
Went in at lunch hour. Music was too loud. Service was very poor. We waited for quiet sometime although it was not crowded. The server finally stopped by to take our order. None of the goat dishes were available. Not one dish, the entire menu. They might as well have posted a notice at the door.We wasted our time and walked out. Not going in again.
Placed order on skip the dishes, received message saying food was almost ready but when we reached Chowrasta, they hadn’t even started cooking the food. We waited about 45min to pick up the food. Appetizers were great, curries were disappointing. Not worth the money
This is my go to place for Biryani! Sometimes the delivery becomes little bit tricky with increased pickup times but that doesn’t affect the food. Food is always really good!
